Time to hit the road! Mini Motorways will be releasing on July 20th, 2021
Beep beep! You may have noticed the new announcement trailer on our store page. We’re excited to share that Mini Motorways will be making its Steam debut on July 20th, 2021.
We’ve been excited to bring Mini Motorways to our Steam audience since day one and loved the support you’ve given us with Mini Metro, especially when we released the Steam Workshop update. We would like to reward your patience and your enthusiasm by making sure the new features and maps are as polished as possible before cementing them in place.
May proved to be just a little too soon for all the new content we have planned for this update, and the new features and improved performance under the hood are how we know it’ll be worth the wait. We want to get this version of the game in your hands as soon as possible and we are very grateful for how patient everyone has been.
Something we’re super thrilled about is that we’ve grown our team of dinos and we have some more folks who will be helping us keep in touch with our wonderful players! This means that we’ve now got the ability to run a dev blog on Steam, which we’ll be updating regularly, showing off in-progress features and maps for both our Steam release and beyond. Like Mini Metro before it, we will be supporting Mini Motorways for a long time, rolling out new game modes, challenges, and achievements.
So what can you expect moving forward? There’s a lot more that we’re excited to share with you, both for the initial release and everything that comes after! We’ll be debuting a new trailer, setting up some stickied posts on the forums, and checking in nice and regularly around these parts :)
