On July 24th PT, we’re kicking off our Miniversary and celebrating the tenth birthday of Mini Metro with a double update to both Mini Metro and Mini Motorways! Three new fan-favourite cities are yours to manage in Mini Motorways! Wind your roads around Central Park in New York City, take a spin around the iconic roundabouts of London, and connect the variegated neighbourhoods of Mumbai.

In addition to tricky terrain and stylish colours, these maps will add a new layer of strategy to the Mini Motorways experience with a new building type: train stations! How will you navigate your traffic around these existing railroads and keep up with your growing city’s demands? New Daily and Weekly Challenges await, plus fresh achievements and all-new audio landscapes from Disasterpeace!

Minimalist subway management sim Mini Metro and its overground follow-up Mini Motorways are getting a crossover update on July 24th to celebrate the series’ tenth birthday, developer Dinosaur Polo Club have announced. Maps from Mini Metros are headed to Mini Motorways and vice versa, along with some other additions as part of the nicely named Miniversary Update.

Hello, Mini Mates!

The time has come to reveal the winner of our epic player-voted map competition! You all cast your nominations from a selection of 30 Mini Metro maps and after an astonishing amount of nominations were placed, it all came down to a competitive top four – London, New York City, Paris, and Hong Kong. Thousands of votes were counted and we now have a clear winner of the next map to come to Mini Motorways!

This fan-favourite city will see worlds collide as you transition from strategic metro lines to carefully-placed road networks!

We’re thrilled to announce a massive Miniversary Update coming to both Mini Metro and Mini Motorways – featuring the winning map of New York City, and so much more!

This one-of-a-kind crossover update features an assortment of things to explore for players old and new. The Miniversary Update will feature three crossover maps coming to each game (that’s right, that’s a total of SIX new maps!), including, for the first time ever in Mini Motorways, TRAINS! Our three newest maps will add an additional piece to the Mini Motorways puzzle as you must plot your roads around their cities’ metro lines.

We’re excited to share an exciting bonus update! Introducing the Extra for Experts update, featuring brand new Daily Challenges that offer advanced difficulty for players who want to put their city planning skills to the test.

This update includes:

• One Daily Challenge per week featuring Expert Mode as a challenge modifier.
  
• Backend controls for the development team to create a smoother player experience for Daily and Weekly Challenges. This should result in much quicker fixes to challenges in the future.
  
• An assortment of bug fixes and performance improvements.
