It’s getting hot out there and we’re not just talking about the weather. This month in RISK is full of fun community and dev updates, giveaways and exciting tournaments! Let’s dive in. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]We’re currently working on our next release as well as v3.20, which includes some of our most exciting features yet. While we’re keeping some elements under wraps for now, we think you’ll like what’s coming.[/p][p][/p][p]As teased in last month’s bulletin, we’re bringing four new maps into the game, each designed by a winner of the 2023 Discord Map Competition. UPDATE v3.19[/h3][p]Version 3.19 includes a series of quality-of-life improvements focused on block lists, streamer mode and the lobby. Key features include:[/p]

• [p]Postgame step for players who surrender early.[/p]
• [p]A newStreamer Mode for verified content creators[/p]

As always, it’s been busy around here with tons of exciting updates from the dev team and the community. Let's jump straight in!




[h3]UPDATE v3.19 PREVIEW [/h3]

Update v3.19 is on the way! With it comes some powerful new tools designed to make Risk fairer and more enjoyable for everyone. Here are some highlights:

• Block Lists: Finally here! Block players who disrupt your games and prevent unwanted interactions.
  
• Creating a safe space for the Community: Enhanced Streamer Mode, new report types for stream snipers, and players cannot re-enter pregame lobby when kicked out by Host
  
• Postgame step for players who surrender: Even if you surrender early, you'll still get important post-match information and placement clarity.

[h3]UPDATE v3.18 HOTFIXES[/h3]

Update v3.18 has well and truly landed after a huge content update as well as a bunch of hotfixes and minor updates to get it ticking over nicely. Our latest release 3.18.4 should have resolved any remaining issues players had with new visual glitches and disconnects, but if you believe you've found problems that are still present, as always, please reach out here.

We're excited to share the release of MapGenie, a community made project by Barry/CQG in the Risk Community Discord!

MapGenie is a modern, interactive web‑based tool that lets you design and export custom Risk maps.
