[h2]Update v3.20.1 is Out Now[/h2][p]Our latest update brought long awaited changes to Balanced Blitz Dice and bot outs as well as lots of bug fixes and a brand new Community Map Pack, featuring four new maps designed by community members.[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][p]The response to the maps has been great so far, check out some feedback below.

[/p][h2]Network Overhaul Closed Beta begins![/h2][p]This month we hit a major milestone, our first international closed beta of the upcoming network overhaul.
[/p][p]Behind the scenes players from over 50 countries are helping test the new network code, latency issues and logging bugs for our devs to tackle in the coming months.[/p][p]
This is the first of at least two closed betas we will hold in the next few months - if you are keen to take part in the next one, sign up here.[/p][p]
[/p][h2]New Map Pack[/h2][p]Next up, we’re releasing Zombie Map Pack 2 October 1st. 
[/p][p]It includes 4 new spooky maps, just in time for Halloween season.

[/p][p][/p][p]Game Mode - Zombie Apocalypse[/p][p]To celebrate Halloween, we’re unlocking Zombie Mode for all of October for all players - no premium required. [/p][p][/p][p]There’s never been a better time to check out the game mode and drive those zombies back once and for all. To celebrate, we’re holding a zombie mode tournament in October with chances to win the new maps and more. Sign up here by October 5th.   • [p]Fixed a bug where eliminated players could be incorrectly flagged as bots.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where eliminated players were unflagged as eliminated when spectating.[/p]
  • [p]Bot out rules should work correctly now in manual placement setups.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed continent highlighting on Abandoned Crystal Mines,[/p]

RISK Update v3.20 Release Notes

[p]Update 3.20 is here and we’ve made changes to our Balanced Blitz Dice in larger battles and released our first ever Community Map Pack. Huge thanks to all our beta testers for your support and feedback on this update, especially around Blitz Dice.[/p][p][/p][p]Update: We're aware of a visual bug where eliminated players are being shown in the UI as bots. We're currently investigating the issue, watch this space.[/p][p][/p]
Major Improvements
[p]Balanced Blitz Dice Changes[/p][p]Blitz dice logic has been completely overhauled and should be more balanced and more predictable. Read a dev diary on changes here. [/p][p][/p][p]Bot Out & Surrender Flow Updates: We’ve fixed bugs and cleaned up logic pertaining to bot out. [/p]
  • [p]Missing players, surrendered and permanently botted out players should all be flagged correctly in the UI.[/p]
  • [p]Neutral AI should no longer force you to wait for a surrendering player to bot out before skipping their turn.[/p]
  • [p]Botting out rules have been simplified: players will bot out permanently after two full turns of inactivity.[/p]
  • [p]Defeating the final human player will no longer end the game early. Players can still surrender when they are the last human player for full RP gains.[/p]
