Overthrown is a city builder where you can throw your whole city at the sky because secretly, you hate city builders

Overthrown is a city building game made by and for people who can't work out whether they love or despise city building games. In this curious concoction from developers Brimstone and publishers Maximum Entertainment, you are a chirpy anime monarch equipped with a magic crown that confers the ability to seize entire buildings and throw them away because aaaararargahragrhagh, I am sick of this dang sawmill. I am sick of perfecting the infrastructure. I am sick of stockpiling food for the winter. I am sick of my hard-working peasants and their happiness levels. I am going to pick everything up and hurl it into the sky.

We're running a private playtest on the Brimstone Discord for one week to gather feedback from the community! If you're interesting in helping us improve Overthrown prior to Early Access launch later this year, please head to https://discord.com/invite/brimstone and check out the Announcements channel for how to request access to the Beta! Please note that once the playtest ends, we will revoke access.

Speaking of Early Access, we're announcing the release date very soon, so you'll want to become a Steam follower to receive the news once it hits.

Attention citizens!

We are thrilled by the response to the demo and grateful for the many of you that tried it. The demo has come down, so unfortunately, you won't be able to play anymore. (　；∀；)

BUT....we have some exciting news. (☉_☉)

We're going to run a private playtest next week! Make sure to become a Steam follower so you can receive the news once we start it. ╭( ･ㅂ･)و ̑̑

Additionally, we are going to announce the Early Access release date soon, so you'll want to be a follower to receive that news as well.

We'll have a detailed roadmap closer to Early Access launch, but for now, here's a reminder on features planned during Early Access.
