Patch V1.0.5.2

Hi All,

Thanks to all who have provided constructive feedback in the community and helped us shape the game. We have just released Patch V1.0.5.2 and included the below updates:

-Refined combat, and added warning signs to certain enemies and bosses when they perform strong or range attacks. Added additional animation on late-game bosses before they conduct super attacks.



-Fixed muted default sound.

-Fixed minimized default UI setting.

-Fixed gem smith trading error.

-Reduced ammo drop rate.

-The player can always roll out now during enemies’ execution.



-Added one more reusable health flask upgrade for the player to pick up in a noticeable area.

-Refine platforms for players, boulders in The City of Flesh are climbable

- Increased distance out of boundary Samurai boss in City of Flesh.

-Fixed bug that the player could be locked in the 'emergency signal' quest boss room.

-refined the range enemies behaviours, and reduced their range to attack.

-Changed health capsules healing to 15% of health.

-Reduced number of parasites that the elite snake boss spawns.


Next Step:
-We are aware that the current version still takes a long time for first-time loading. We need a bit more time to work on overall optimization.

-Meanwhile, we will continue working on setting up the New Game+ system for strong enemies/bosses for the next patch

Patch V1.0.5.1

Hi All,

Hope you all have enjoyed an exciting Halloween.
Thanks to those who have participated in our Screenshot competition!

We have been continuously refining the game during the Halloween event period. Here is what we have done for V1.0.5.1:

-Fixed item loading issue in Underground Chamber, where in rare cases the key would not drop.

-Add a new trading function to Gem Smith, after saving the Gem Smith, players can now trade between gems, stones and orbs.



-Final Boss balancing: added delay time and visual hint before she casts flame attack. Shortened flame distance.



-Add a teleport machine in 'Celestial Tower Upper', so players can teleport to the laser trap after activating the machine.



-Added navigation map for dragon transition room.

What's Next...

We have started working on the New Game+ and will try to complete it by the end of November, please stay tuned for further update.

The ScreamFest and V1.0.5

Hi all,

We are so excited to invite you to participate Dark Light Halloween hunting event!

When you first enter Cargo-bay, you will suddenly feel the Halloween atmosphere.
We have specially created some lovely pumpkin heads for you to play around with.



After the warm-up, you will be busy with the Halloween treasure hunt! Explore the Underground City, smash as many pumpkins as you can and get rewarded with shards, gems and stones.



But be careful as you might summon some fearsome creatures from another world.



Special Competition:

We will also hold a screenshot competition in our community, here are the rules:
During your gameplay, capture the most special moment, it can be scary, funny, quirky or anything that can amuse the community.
The owner of the most upvoted 3 posts will be awarded a $10 Steam gift card.

The competition will run during the dates of Steam ScreamFest: October 10th to November 1st.
The result will be published after the event.


Besides the exciting event, we will also make a patch to update below things:

Patch V1.0.5 Notes

-Added navigation map for all Sewer worlds, Unknown Chamber and Droid Smith quest map.

-You will be supplied with one health orb if you have 0 orb when you die, rest at portals
or travel through portals.

-Tightened up control for the player left right turn so you will hardly slip over from an edge.

-Support 16:10 ratio improved (Steam deck)

V1.0.4.1

Hi All,

Just another small patch based on V1.0.4:

-Fixed rare bug that caused the character to be invincible.

-Fixed a bug on Boss Leviathan, which caused it not be damaged by a melee weapon.

-Fixed Ending VII “The Executioner” so now it works correctly.

The version number will still shows V1.0.4.

Hi All,

During the past two weeks, we have been monitoring the community and collecting information to refine our game. Here is the update we have included in this patch:

V1.0.4 patch

- Improved game performance, and reduced spike lags.
- Adjusted character's inertia of run to stop so it's more controllable.
- Reinforced saving system, so you will not lose your customized key binding.
- Added indication on interactable doors.
- Fixed passable floor displacement glitch.
- UUW 32:9 screen is now playable.
- Reduced light trap damage in the ‘Passage Way’ map.
- Final boss balance
- Fixed ‘Zane is not charging for droid hiring’ issue.
- Added option for players to be able to drop all items at once from an inventory slot to the vault.
- Added sell stackable items in one go at vendors

To check you if you have the latest update can see the game version in the main menu top right corner V1.0.4



About the 'Utility' Key Binding:
Reload / general interaction and healing (hold) are bound to one key at the moment due to the lack of buttons on controllers. You can rebind the utility key but all 3 functions will assign to the same key you choose.

We understand keyboard/mouse player would want to have the freedom to bind those keys separately. We have worked on it. However, we are still looking for solutions to avoid resetting all players' customized controls.
We'll try to find an optimal solution in the future update.
