What's Next: New Server, Free to Keep Forever, Christmas Event

[/p][p]We’re happy to announce that on December 16 at 10:00 AM PST a new PvE server will launch in the North America region with 2x rates. Also, a recently introduced welcome bonus is active: all new characters receive an accelerated start for two weeks. This bonus applies to all servers.[/p][p][/p][p]PvE x2 is an experimental format, but we hope you’ll enjoy it. We saw strong community interest in the first PvE Europe server and—based on your feedback—decided to reduce grind, so all loot, gathering and progression on the new server will be doubled![/p][p][/p][p]To celebrate this milestone, we’ll be running a Steam giveaway! From December 16 to December 18 you can claim Wild Terra 2: New Lands for free — it’s yours to keep forever. Time is limited, so be sure to tell your friends, favorite news outlets, and community chats.[/p][p][/p][p]And there’s something new for all servers as well: on December 16 we’ll release an update that includes the revamped guild system (Phase 1), exotic crossbows, and other changes.[/p][p][/p][p]But that’s not all — can you hear the jingle bells? [/p][h3]Patch notes for Update 2.3.396[/h3][p][/p][p]Cultist Pack and new boss:[/p][p]- A new "Cultist" pack is now available for purchase in the in-game shop, on the website, and on Steam: Cthulhu wings and mask, a rat mount, a support pet "Priest of Cthulhu", decorative buildings, a title, and portrait frames.[/p][p]- A new boss, "Essence of Cthulhu", has been added to the tavern basement.[/p][p]- The Naturalist’s Journal now contains a kill bonus for defeating the Essence of Cthulhu and a bonus for the "Priest of Cthulhu" pet (from the pack).[/p][p][/p][p]In memory of Faith[/p][p]- An angel-shaped memorial has been added to the port in honor of Faith. We greatly appreciate everything she contributed to the project. She was one of the kindest and most welcoming members of the community, always ready to share and help. Rest in peace, Faith.[/p][p][/p][p]Welcome bonuses for new players[/p][p]- All new characters now receive accelerated skill progression (2x) for 2 weeks.[/p][p]- Completing Elion quests (the starter island) now grants a 3-day Premium Scroll.[/p][p]- Some initial quests have been simplified, and nest spawns on the starting island have been increased.[/p][p]- The starter town hall’s resident capacity has been increased to 5. Players who start together can now more easily use shared storage and other buildings.
[/p][p]New in Witchcraft[/p][p]- Added 3 new witchcraft organs that can be used to brew a new unique poison.[/p][p]- Added a new group of effects — Witchcraft Combat Potions.[/p][p]- Added 5 new Witchcraft Combat Potions with unique effects.[/p][p]- In the crafting window, consumable potions used for Witchcraft combat abilities have been moved from "Combat Potions" to "Materials".[/p][p][/p][p]Improvements and fixes[/p][p]- Skin transformations now display a warning. The revert-transformation button is now correctly labeled.[/p][p]- Applying weapon poisons now asks for confirmation before use.[/p][p]- Fixed a bug where some weapon poisons did not check whether a weapon was equipped and could be lost unnecessarily.[/p][p]- Fixed a bug that prevented logs from being used as fuel in the campfire.[/p][p]- Fixed a bug where an NPC from a past event did not disappear.[/p]

[h2]Changelog for Update 2.3.392:[/h2][p][/p][h3]Changes and improvements:[/h3][p]- Players who kill a mob will now have a significantly reduced timer for stowing their weapon, allowing for quick switching to looting slain animals, which was previously very inconvenient for certain types of weapons.[/p][p]- The effects panel can now also be moved around the screen (just hold down the left mouse button on any active effect and drag it).[/p][p]- The number of slots in the hold with Quartermaster "Billy" has been increased to 60.[/p][p]- A new section "Decor and Skins" has been added to the item creation window.[/p][p]- The ability to convert the "Traveler's Cloak with Pockets" and "Celtic Cloak with Pockets" into similar cloaks for decorative purposes has been added.[/p][p]- Fixed a bug with the description of some bonuses in the Hunter's Journal.[/p][p]- Fixed a bug with the display of loot from Ancient Swarm Beetles and Giant Scorpions in the Hunter's Journal.[/p][p]- Fixed issues with object spawning in inaccessible areas in the city cemetery (under graves and columns).[/p][p]- Fixed errors in ammo production recipes for slingshots and bolts at the "Ammunition Machine".[/p]
