Reports from the devfield. What we are working on?



We plan to release the next major update on April 15th. What we are working on right now and what will be included in this update?

Dungeons for solo players. Small dungeons with randomly generated rooms, enemies and loot to make it more interesting to replay. You can only enter the dungeon alone. We are planning to make two types of dungeons:
  • Resource mines. Dungeons of a few rooms, where in addition to not challenging mobs, you will be able to mine iron and other resources. The entrance to such dungeons will be in one place all the time. These are the dungeons we will add to the game earlier.
  • Dungeons to explore. Dungeons, the entrance to which will appear in a random place in the world of the game. Dungeons are sometimes large and sometimes small. With new opponents, bosses, diaries, stories, and random loot. These dungeons will be more varied - sometimes it will be a difficult challenge, and sometimes just a small basement with an interesting story. These dungeons will be added at a later date and maybe not included in this update.
Dungeon difficulty levels. Several difficulty levels for all dungeons, including solo ones. Before entering, you choose the difficulty yourself. The harder it is, the better the rewards and the higher the levels of enemies!

A tool for reporting offenders. If you meet an offender in the game world or in the chat, you can easily inform us about him by selecting the appropriate category: “Cheats / Using bugs”, “Bot program”, “Real money trading”, “Insults, excessive abuse”. This will help to better counteract violators and apply penalties.

Also, anvils and several other buildings and tools, dancing (woo-hoo!), bug fixes, additional packs rewards, sound effects and other changes will be added.

The auction will appear in the game in the next update (late April - early May). Development of the Auction will take a long time, so we decided to focus on adding new content first.

Update 2.0.275. Windmill, alcohol and other changes!



This update adds a wooden windmill, the ability to brew alcoholic drinks, and many other improvements and fixes.

New features and improvements:
- You can now craft alcohol. Brew different types of beer and other drinks!
- Added several stages of drunkenness with different effects and messages.
- Added "Vomit Potion" to Craft Healing, which removes medium and strong drunkenness.
- Added new buildings: Wooden mill, Fermentation barrel.
- Now the values of the regeneration of health and stamina per second are displayed on its indicators.
- In Restless Gorge, the number of iron deposits and the speed of its spawning have been slightly increased.
- Now, in addition to the Provocation ability, Heavy Shield Strike will also increase the desire to attack you. Ability descriptions now display the numerical value of threat points depending on the skill level.
- Tanks now do slightly less damage.
- Slightly weakened bronze armor and slightly improved iron and steel (iron set 120 is now slightly better than bronze 155).
- Added the ability to create Sugar from Sugar Syrup. And sugar syrup is now obtained by evaporating beets/honey in a cauldron.
- 1 sapling is now used for planting grapes, instead of 4 seeds.
- To grow peas, you now need to plant the peas themselves, not the seeds.
- Now when you click on a character portrait, the window for changing the portrait, title and frame will open.

Fixes:
- Fixed a bug due to which tanning vats could not be built on the floor.
- Fixed a bug due to which the Double XP chance of defense skills was not applied for heavy shields.
- Fixed a bug due to which various objects could visually remain and accumulate in the hands when changing equipment.
- Trees after harvesting will now display the harvest maturity timer.
- Fixed a bug due to which the container that opened when the secret bag was opened worked incorrectly.
- Fixed a bug due to which the secret bag was not opened by double-clicking and when using it from the hotbar.
- Fixed a bug due to which the pet could not change the target if the target is already selected.
- Fixed a bug due to which the use of instant abilities with effects moving to a target (for example, Sprint while running to a loot object) would interfere with the execution of an action.
- Fixed a bug due to which the music in the church could disappear when zooming and rotating the camera.
- Fixed a bug due to which window for changing and selecting a portrait, title, and frame were not closed by pressing the Esc key.
- Fixed graphics of some trees, improved graphics of the ground under garden trees.
- Improved the convenience of interacting with garden trees.
- Added graphics for bronze and iron shovel.
- Added warning and disconnection from the server for the duration of the database backup (once a day for several minutes).

Hotfix 2.0.274

- Underground Guard and Stone Statues in the cave now do less damage to heavy armor.
- Reduced stun time from attacks by dwarves, Underground Guard and Stone Statues.
- Now negative effects on the player will persist after disconnecting from the server.
- Now, if a pet was attacked by a criminal or outlaw, then its automatic retaliatory attacks will not make its owner a criminal even after the attacker loses this status.
- Increased the minimum number of seeds when harvested to 5.
- Fixed a bug due to which when planting 4 seeds to get withered plants, you could get 3 withered plants.
- Fixed description of beets (about the method of obtaining seeds).
- Fixed translation of some crops and fruit trees in English.

Hotfix 2.0.273

- The crime system now correctly accounts for pet attacks, as well as pet attacks on pets.
- Fixed a bug due to which the pet began to attack in response to the attack, even in passive modes.
- Fixed a bug due to which raw food could reduce the current satiety points.
- Improved characteristics of heavy shields.

Major Update. Agriculture, Cooking, Combat System and countering criminals



Ten new crops for farming have been added to the game. Complex dishes will be in demand, and their bonuses have been increased. The first major stage of improving the combat system has been completed and a new skill has been added. Introduced system to counteract provocateurs and murderers of peaceful players, solved the problem with a shortage of free dungeons, added rewards from additional packs, and many other improvements!

Hidden bags and rewards of additional packs
To receive new rewards, you must reactivate your key in the game!
- Added rewards from additional packs. Prosperous merchant pack: Secret merchant bag, Elephant mount. King pack: Valorous Knight companion (pet).
- Added recipes for crafting secret bags in a game way.

Countering killers of peaceful players
- Introduced a new system of penalties for attacking peaceful players. Provocateurs and murderers will receive temporary statuses "Criminal" and "Outlaw", thanks to which they risk losing items from their inventory and part of the money upon death, even while in a peaceful zone!

Agriculture and Cooking
- Now you can grow: beets, cabbage, peas, onions, garlic, strawberries, grapes, apples, cherries, and pears. Some seeds can be obtained by breeding, and some can only be purchased from a merchant. Now there is no need to dig holes before sowing, and also, all actions are performed immediately with the bed, and not with single cells. *It will not work to plant new crops in old beds, you need to build new ones.
- Improved cooking system and food effect bonuses. Now you need to eat cooked food to restore your satiety score above 50%. Added new recipes, as well as a rolling pin and butcher hatchets. Also, food effects are now divided into several groups and only one effect from each group can be active on a player at a time.

New skill and other changes to the combat system
- Shields are now divided into light and heavy (both the items themselves and the skills for their possession). Added new active and passive abilities to both skills. Blocking melee and ranged attacks are now separate stats.
- Reworked the aggression system for mobs. The "Provocation" active ability has been added to the Heavy Shields skill. Players can now provoke a target on themselves by acting as tanks. The effectiveness of the ability depends on the level of the Heavy Shields skill. Dealing high damage can also cause a mob to change its target.
- Added a new random unlockable bonus for pets "Provocation", which will significantly increase the level of aggression when triggered, which will make the pet a full-fledged tank.
- During the battle, you can no longer change armor and remove a heavy shield. The effect lasts 7 seconds after you attack or get hit.
- Now after disconnecting or exiting the game, the character remains in the game for another 10 seconds. Consider this and exit the game in a safe place.
- Parry can now only be triggered during your attack.
- The growth rate of skills Parry, Light and Heavy shields is increased.
- Rebalanced the characteristics of all armor and shields. Now it will be possible to reach the maximum values of the parameters of dodge and defense only with equipment of a high level and quality. Also, parts of one set of armor will give a different percentage of bonuses, depending on the amount of resources and skill required to create it. *For example, the chest armor will give more than the gloves.*

Other changes and bug fixes:
- The number of simultaneously open dungeons has been significantly increased (you will no longer have problems entering and waiting).
- Fixed a bug due to which the Boar pet was not triggering the Fury ability.
- Fixed a bug due to which player's buildings could block the passages.
- Fixed a bug due to which some buildings could be built at the same point many times. All half-timbered roofs on the server have been removed to reduce the load.
- Some mobs and bosses will now be more difficult to defeat.
- Fixed a bug due to which volume control did not affect fireworks.
- Fixed a bug due to which bonuses could be triggered for broken weapons.
- Fixed a bug due to which the critical hit chance did not work when attacking with knives from the back.
- Fixed a bug due to which Parry could be triggered without weapons, with bows or throwing weapons.
- Fixed a bug due to which spears and sling projectiles could fly through the wall if you approach it at close range.
- Improved and optimized graphics of trees, wooden boxes, half-timbered roof.
