Wild Terra 2: New Lands News

Update 2.2.377. The Christmas Events Begin!

Krampus has returned and stolen the gifts of Iteria's inhabitants! But this is only a small part of the winter story you'll need to unravel, along with the Ragnara. Locals are reporting increasingly frequent encounters with undead who call themselves Dragon Keepers. This update brings a large amount of new content for both new and veteran players.

Also, festive items and bundles are available at a discount in the in-game store, and you can get free festive frames and icons!
Changelog for Update 2.2.377

Christmas Event:
- A quest chain and daily tasks have been added for Ragnara, to tell you about the ongoing events.
- A character dressed as Santa has been added to Hartfurt, selling consumables for crafting decorations for your dominion, Christmas items, and gives out a Christmas gift to anyone who asks every day!
- Portals to Krampus' Winter Forest and winter creatures are appearing throughout Iteria.
- You can find gray squirrels in the forests and fields, and polar wolves in PvP zones; skinning them might open a portal to the Winter Forest.
- Mad elves can be encountered in the Winter Forest, as well as when chopping down fir trees, pine trees, and trees on Plague Island.
- Dragon Keepers, undead creatures, have been added and can be found in the Winter Forest, the Iterian swamp, and Plague Island.
- Skinning Dragon Keepers in the swamps have a chance to spawn a stronger monster, and at the end of the chain, you will face the key boss, the Horned Dragon.
- An Eye of the Dragon organ can drop from the servant Dragon Keepers in the winter dungeon, allowing you to summon a solo version of the Horned Dragon boss in the tavern basement. The dungeon difficulty affects the drop rate.
- There is a chance to find a dragon egg in the remains of the defeated dragon and in Christmas gifts, allowing you to raise your own baby dragon!
- Christmas items have been added to loot finds and corpse containers.
- The Christmas tree recipe and crafting of Christmas items are once again available.
- Christmas gifts can contain themed rewards, as well as "Dungeon Hourglasses," which allow you to reset dungeon activity timers.
Other new features:
- A new mount skin "Demonic Barguest" has been added, which can be obtained from the loot of the "Weak Demon" in the tavern basement.
- All mechanical machines can now be built anywhere, not just on the ground (except for the "Water Pump").

What We’re Working On: PvE Server and the Fate of Legacy

Thank you for your support! We have long noticed that you have shown great interest in the question of a peaceful PvE server.
We are happy to announce the launch of a PvE server in Europe! It will be available to everyone on December 6th at 1:00 PM CET.
In connection with this event, you will receive a welcome bonus on all servers!
From now until December 16th, new characters on any server will receive a 14-day bonus of +200% experience.

A few more details about PvE:
- This is a completely peaceful server with no hostile zones, no PvP damage, and no ability to loot other players' corpses.
- This server will have a separate auction.
- For the launch, we are preparing an update that will introduce mini-events, new quests, and more. This and all subsequent updates will be available on all servers.
- The new Landowner Pack will be available for purchase.
- Further content will not be focused solely on PvE; the main servers will continue to combine both aspects of the game.
- The launch of PvE servers in other regions is not currently planned.
The Fate of Legacy Servers
We are forced to discontinue support for the Legacy servers. They were launched back when Early Access started nearly 4 years ago. The game was in its most active development phase, which resulted in various bugs (items, characters, objects, and structures). Due to these and other technical limitations, transferring anything to the new servers is impossible.

After the game was officially released, we launched the main servers, and the outdated ones received Legacy status. However, we continued to support them for another 2 years. Currently, these servers enjoy very low popularity among players, and maintaining them requires significant resources. With no other choice, we must shut down the Legacy servers on December 6, 2024.

We sincerely regret it if you have been actively playing on Legacy and will not be able to continue. We have done our best to support these servers until the end, but their time has come. We hope for your understanding.

(All items purchased for real money are not tied to the server, and you will be able to use them on other servers.)

We would be very happy to see you on the new servers!
