Atuns Folly Update

Live the pirate life with ‘Atun’s Folly’, a free new update The Falconeer!
Announced during Wired Direct – you can catch a birds eye view of all the exciting new content added in the trailer below!

• Partake in criminal acts to become a pirate! and navigate the perilous waters of the Great Ursee, be a menace and see your pirate levels increase!
• Discover Atun’s Folly, a unique new pirate settlement atop of a giant turtle.
• Experience epic new pirate missions, as you take down trading vessels, steal loot and attack Imperial or Mancer forts.
• Complete mini story side quest and return to civilized society by defeating legendary aces that stalk the pirates (mini boss level fighters).
• Take on a new pirate assault story mission targeting Atun’s Folly (when you are not a pirate), starting from Castellus.
• Conquer fearsome new enemies ridden by legendary aces including the formidable Phoenix, mighty prehistoric Pteron and the menacing Ormir drake.
• Dual wield a new Pirate Magnetar Rifle, for maximum damage.

Atun's Folly

Doing pirate actions now gives a 'Pirate Level'. The level increases as the player carries out more pirate actions.
The pirate level maxes out at 3. For every level, additional pressure is placed on the player by 'Bounty Hunters'.
When the player is a Pirate, they can see 'Hidey Holes' across the map. They can also see the new location 'Atun's Folly'.
Atun's Folly has a new mini pirate campaign.
Pirate level 3 can only be removed by purchasing an Amnesty. Completing the Atun's Folly campaign allows the player to purchase Amnesty's at hidey holes.
Up to Pirate level 2 can be removed by purcahsing a 'Letter of Redemption' at Hidey Holes.
Hidey Hole's allow the player to redeem stolen loot (From destroying freindly boats).
Landing at Hidey Hole's or Atun's Folly will save progress as a pirate if the player leaves the game.
The player can now purchased Dual-Weilding Magnatar rifles and Gobspitters at Atun's Folly.
There are new 'story' missions at Stargazer, Westgate and Castellus.
There are two new classes called Arbiter and Corsair used by the AI (Also known as legendary aces).
Arbiters are essentialy police chiefs that keep law and order, they fly 'Fenix's'.
Corsairs are the opposite to Arbiters, they fly 'Pteron's'.
Text has been added to each chapter within the chapter select screen to provide further chapter info.
Enemies now dodge rockets and legendary aces can fire rockets at the player.
Every cinematic zoom now has an appropriate descriptor to resemble enemies and frendlies.
implemented narrow escape system, if you are dealt a lethal damage that drops your health by a large chunk, you are left with 1 health instead of dying instantly.
fixed the display for the fortress achievement
fixed certain carrying items being explodable/destructible when they shouldn't
added map reward for temple of creation from Chapter 2 Mission 3
added several legendary aces to the main storyline\
