in the beginning, I would like to thank you for your interest and expressing your fears and hopes regarding the game.
In connection with the fact that there were many doubts about the developer, I would like to clarify a few things.

Ultimate Fishing Simulator 2 is performed by MasterCode studio and Ultimate Games S.A. Besides, as a publisher, we covered this production with full supervision and we decided in advance that the game will be released in Early Access mode.
[h2]Professional Fishing / Fishing Adventure[/h2]
Many of you write about Professional Fishing - I would like to point out that that game was created by two studios and, unfortunately, one of them no longer works with us. The game did not meet anyone's expectations - especially players. This is a production with unused potential and we all regret it.
Fishing Adventure was released at the request of Ultimate Games S.A., as a product addressed to people with very old computers. Everyone who has once launched Professional Fishing has received a loyalty discount and this we will be repeated from time to time. The game was released in its final state, received several updates to correct bugs, and its development process has ended. Is a full-fledged product.

Unfortunately, despite the success of the first part - the BitGolem developer did not want to continue the series, because he is not interested in this type of games anymore. Therefore, we decided to hire a MasterCode studio for this project.
We were all aware that it would be a controversial choice for players - and yes, we considered changing the developer name. However, we want to be fair to players and we decided not to hide this information.
As I mentioned at the beginning, UFS2 will be released in EARLY ACCESS mode, and the game will be created based on player feedback. We will try to make it a worthy successor to the first part and we are well aware that the expectations of the game are high ... very high.
The game will have full support after the release, as in the case of the first part of the game, and as a publisher, we will make every effort to ensure that the game is properly developed taking into account the opinions of players.

[h2]PLAYER QUESTIONS[/h2]
Answering player questions that have appeared on the forum.
- Is this a continuation/fork of Pro Fishing 2018? It looks very similar.
It’s made by one of two teams that did PF2018. Game is made also on Unity engine (as all our Fishing games) and that is why they may look similar. Also, as Publisher we have our own library of 3D assets that are used among all our games.
- Is there VR support planned for it?
Yes, there is – it will be done after full game release as it happened with the first version of the game.
- Will there be a 'free play' mode with all venues/gear made available without hours of grinding?
This mode will be available soon in UFS1 and will be also introduced in UFS2.
- Is this open world with free-roaming along the shore and across the water in boats?
Maps will be closed. There should be similar to UFS1 but some of them may be smaller. You will be able to walk around fishery but it will not be an open-world game.
- How is the AI/fish behaviour different in this game from all the rest of the fishing games?
We want to introduce in UFS2 fish need zones. We are planning more improvements and the introduction of a habitat system, based, among others, on the time of day. This way the fish will move around the entire fishery, but it will depend on some values. For example, a fish will move from point X to Y at feeding time, and during rest time it will seek shelter and swim from point Y to Z. We are also planning, among other novelties, assigning individual species of fish to different parts of the fishery, to reflect reality as much as possible. Thanks to this, predators could live in areas with dense vegetation, and e.g. carp would stick to places near the sandy bottom or hideouts made of tree branches.
- Is the environment immersive, with a skybox with dynamic clouds/birds / etc., fish jumps, etc. ?
Yes, and no…rather we don’t know yet! It will depend on development state and community needs after released in EA. I can say yes for: fish jumps and animations on the water. But dynamic skybox is usually affecting game performance so it’s hard to tell right now. About other animals – we would like to add more live in fisheries like frogs, swans, ducks. All these little details make the game more immersive.
- Will maps be the same as in the UFS 1?
All maps will be new. There will be no content from UFS 1 (maybe beside some equipment and fish models) but every map will be new. Created from scratches.
- Will players have DLC’s accessible from UFS 1?
No. DLC’s from UFS1 will be not compatible with UFS2.
