[WE ARE ALIVE #2] Testing in progress + Robinson© licensing



Hello everyone!
Good News


Our latest build has been sent to Quality Assurance (testing) team and we are waiting for final feedback.

IF everything will be fine (without bugs, etc.) and the QA team will give us a "pass", the demo will be released in approx. 2 weeks.

Finally, you will be able to play and give us feedback! We would like to prepare a survey, would you like to put there any specific questions from your side? :) Post them in the comments

[WE ARE ALIVE] Status update

Hey everyone!
It will be short today as it's laaaaaaaaaaate here but we are still working (10 pm ROTFL).

We are moving forward with code changes in the deep kernel. All delays were caused by two things: covid-19 and rework/overhaul of a few BASIC (most important) things in gameplay.

Yes, I know, you are waiting, we are working and both sides are not satisfied with the results. We do our best and I really hope that today's build will go to the Q&A team next week and then....you know what - but I don't want to write empty words.

Ah, and important thing - we didn't change like A LOT of things because we want - YOU, to give us feedback as some of you have bigger experience in being a virtual or real fisherman. We make games for you, so your feedback will matter here. There will be few surveys and we would like to see a steam forum full of suggestions/feedback.

So once again - we are alive, we have a new programmer in the team and things are moving forward.

Almost forgot! We have a new partner for licensed equipment! More info soon.

[DevTalks #2] DEMO Content - Map & Inventory

Hey everyone,
today I would like to present you one of the first maps where you will be able to travel for fishing - The Snake River (Jackson National Park).

The Snake River is a major river of the greater Pacific Northwest region in the United States. At 1,078 miles (1,735 km) long, it is the largest tributary of the Columbia River, in turn the largest North American river that empties into the Pacific Ocean. The Snake River rises in western Wyoming, then flows through the Snake River Plain of southern Idaho, the rugged Hells Canyon on the Oregon–Idaho border and the rolling Palouse Hills of Washington, emptying into the Columbia River at the Tri-Cities, Washington.

So, let's start! Jackson is a medium-sized map, focused mainly on the river fishing. The river has a current which make float-fishing a bit harder, so most of our team prefer to use spinning method there.



Let's take a look at nature, beautiful National Park! Click to zoom! As you could see, the river have a bigger pond, where you will be able to find fish that prefer more calm water ex. black bullhead catfish.

But our maps are not the only developed above water but also UNDER it. Snake River has a lot of underwater vegetation, tree branches, rocks and the river current sometimes also brings large branches, so watch out for snags! Fish like to hide in underwater vegetation but not all of them.

Smallmouth bass with changed texture - thank you for fast feedback!



We had really a lot of work with creating so complex map but I hope we did a good job! Some of you asked if you will be able to walk on the map in free-roam. My answer is: YES.

What do you think about Snake River?

At this moment I will show you only part of demo content as we are preparing new lures, rods & reels from Sakura but I want to present you how inventory will look like. It will change a bit in next dev-update as black background on the right for big-preview didn't fit good.



As you can see, you will be able to have different sets, which you will be able to call as you want. At this moment you will be able to create up to 5 custom sets.

Many of you asked so here it is - we are in the final stage of bug fixing but we didn't set DEMO release date yet. We will inform you ASAP.
