We’ve just rolled out a big update for our game, and we’re super excited for you to dive in! This update packs many changes — from a brand new fish system to a smoother multiplayer mode, not to mention a boatload of fixes to improve your gameplay.

We are aware of a few visual glitches that should be fixed soon.

  • Updated Unity engine to 2021.3 LTS;
  • Updated and linked the new language service;
  • Improved multiplayer mode with correct float synchronization and synchronized rod bending.

Devlog and Update 31/10/2024

Hi anglers!

It's been a month since the previous devlog, since then we've made a lot of progress that we want to share with you!

Ok maybe let's start like this, there is bad news and good news.

The good news is that the Halloween event will take off, but unfortunately it will be available on the Beta version you all have access to. Why so? Well, further still all the fixes have not been applied and the game is not in the state we expected (probably you too). Adding an event to the old version of the game that is on the main branch is not possible at the moment, too far progress in the project to run it now.

Bad as you guessed, any new fixes will still be made available in the Beta version, also, to get there you have to select this branch in the Steam game settings. All the information is available in the discussions in the corresponding thread, it has been covered before

For all those who want to collect rewards from the Halloween event, and do not want to enter the beta version, we will try to make it available to the public at a later time when we patch the most agonizing bugs.

Devlog 30.09.2024

Hello, anglers!

We’ve got some good news to share! There was ton of work to be done and we are finally doing quality testings with fixes. It's been a while since the last public updates, and we know you’ve been waiting. Due to changes in the team working on the game, everything got significantly delayed. But don't worry—development has picked up pace recently, and we’re pushing forward with full release. We implemented over 250 changes, fixes and adjustments!

The biggest change will be a brand-new Multiplayer mode, allowing you to fish together with your friends (full view of other anglers). Initially, we can't guarantee avatar customization, but it's definitely something we're considering for the future.

Together with update you will receive new map - Delaware Bay. In terms of Alaska we are continuing to work over it but this one we want to ship together will Ice Fishing.

We did lot of changes that can cause tons of problems and we want to make sure everything works properly. Beside all of the above we plan to revamp the boat control system together with its physics and allow you to use boat on every map that is capable to handle the boat!

The public update is planned for the October/November, and it will likely come with the Halloween event - that some of you love. 🎃👻
