Season 2 starts on February 1st
[p]So, we’re happy to announce that Season 1 will end on February 1 at 15:00 UTC. At that time, all player code versions will be frozen and stored to be used in the live final tournament, which you can read more about below. All items in your inventory will be preserved, but keys and their components are seasonal items, so in the next season they will only be available for disintegration into dust.[/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][h2]Season 2[/h2][p]Season 2 will start immediately after the end of the previous season and will run for the next three months, until May 1.[/p][p]

- [p]We’ll rebalance tower parameters to make them more effective tactical tools:[/p]
- [p]Maximum range: 20 tiles.[/p]
- [p]Attack power starts at 1000 at point-blank range and decreases by 50 for each additional tile.[/p]
- [p]Heal power starts at 600 at point-blank range and decreases by 30 for each additional tile.[/p]
- [p]Shot cost is 10 energy, and storage capacity is also 10 energy, meaning towers must be recharged after every shot.[/p]
- [p]Cooldown: 10 ticks.[/p]
- [p]Construction cost: 1250 energy.[/p]
- [p]The fame reward chest level will no longer drop below level 1, so you’ll always be able to earn at least something.[/p]
- [p]In every arena, fame rewards will now contain Key Upgrades of all colors, with the arena’s "native" color dropping twice as often.[/p]
- [p]One technical change: the standard JavaScript [c]Date[/c] object will be unavailable in player code.[/p]
