An official statement on behalf of the Galactic Council and A-Team Corp!
On the night of September 1, new unidentified signals were noticed on the global Arcanum System Network. Numerous messages from pilots are recording new objects on radar!
After analyzing the collected data, we can make a conclusion: a game update was obviously downloaded today!
List of innovations:
- The “Sector Scanner” special ability for “Scout” type ships has been improved: now it not only opens a list of static objects (stations and wormholes), but also highlights for 15 seconds absolutely all objects that the map and radar can display. The scanner can also capture unique encrypted signals.
- Added a new type of object - dynamic containers with treasures and valuable items. Perhaps you can even find a treasure map? ;)
- The search system has been improved: now, instead of 3 types of queries, there are 2 types: search for a product for purchase, search for a product for sale (we have combined the queries “search for secondary goods” and “search for production”)
- Added a new menu to the personal section - “Progress”. There you can see what items are unlocked as you level up your rank. From there you can make a request to the search engine for a specific subject.
- OS "FRIEND" can now offer directions to the trading dock if you have a lot of items lying around in your hold that can be sold. The Y and N keys will serve as a signal to order to activate the autopilot or refuse the offer.
- OS "FRIEND" now knows the names of objects and sectors. True, we don’t use this skill everywhere yet, but we’ll start soon :)
- All NPC voice acting was re-processed and brought to approximately the same volume level. Filters and effects have also been changed. Many phrases of the OS "FRIEND" were re-recorded again (at the request of the voice actor;). A new voice-over for cash receipts has also been added.
- Added the function of COMPLETE ACCOUNT RESET in the personal section
- Fixed some UI bugs
- Fixed problems with the weapons of the WOLF ship
- Changed autopilot speed graph
- Changed the sizes of new generated sectors (reduced)
- Changed the algorithm for the appearance of clouds with lightning
- And other improvements have been made, but we don’t remember them anymore
