1.0.3 patch notes.

• Bugfix: Added better error handling to the Void Runs which was preventing Valazeus from dying.
• Bugfix: Kaboom perk wasn't registering enemy kills which could prevent decreasing enemie kill counts during some game modes.
• Bugfix: Grant additional achievements for completing story mode for difficulties lower than the one the player completes. This should apply retroactively.
• Bugfix: Players are now awarded the total number of missing skill points after reaching 30+100 to unlock all perks.
• Bugfix: Levelling up multiple times no longer causes missing level-up rewards. Now combines the rewards even if you level up multiple times.
• Bugfix: Unlocking NPCs in the Codex is fixed.
• Bugfix: Chaotic mask now drops in the Underworld.
• Bugfix: Reload speed min time clamped to 0 seconds to prevent negative values. Also fixes bug with tiny reload times not reloading the weapon.
• Bugfix: Sometimes bullets would fire in the wrong direction when starting a run.
• Bugfix: Added a button cooldown for the alert popup on the Bounties and Apply Spray menus.
• Bugfix: Pressing confirm without a spray selected will no longer bring up the confirmation dialog.

• Changed: Blitz Mode doesn't end immediately allowing you to grab your loot.
• Changed: Increase the XP required to get to grit level 100.
• Changed: Spawn logic for Assault Mode will now make sure there are always enough enemies to complete a wave.

1.0.2 patch notes.

  • Fixed a game breaking bug that prevented loading your save game when you reached Level 30 / Grit Level 100.
  • Grant 3 additional skills points at level 30.
  • Show the Load Game button on the Main Menu when the player has one or more save files.

1.0 Release

We have officially exited Early Access with our 1.0 update that adds the single player story campaign to the game. We've also added 3 difficulty modes, achievements, Steam Deck support, and did some rebalancing.

It's been a long road for our small team to get here, but we are finally over the finish line and we are thrilled to deliver our vision for the Deadtime Defenders experience to everyone.

Exiting Early Access on Thursday

Thursday we will be exiting Early Access with our 1.0 update that adds the single player story campaign to the game. We've also added 3 difficulty modes, achievements, Steam Deck support, and did some rebalancing.

After a few months of effort by our team - we nearly have the preview version of the story mode update ready for feedback and player testing!
