Ossu!

[/p][p]The first big milestone of the year is behind us - JDM has successfully launched on PlayStation 5! Thank you for supporting the game on the new platform through either purchases or just by spreading the word about the game - this really means a lot to us! [/p][p][/p][p]With JDM now being on almost all major platforms (looking at you Nintendo Switch 2) it’s time to again refocus more on content. Here’s our new, very brief roadmap for the upcoming months:[/p][p][/p][p]

[/p]
DLC 2

[p]The next big thing for us will be a new DLC focused around cars. Similarly to the “Made in USA” DLC it will introduce a few new vehicles to the game for a low price - buying this expansion is the best way to support us as a studio.[/p][p]Shortly after the DLC 2 launch, we will bring some new, free JDM cars as a ‘thank you’ to our supportive community.[/p][p]Both the free additions and the DLC will come to all platforms. We will have more details for you soon.[/p][p][/p]
Multiplayer

[p]The long awaited multiplayer component will come next. It’s been in heavy development for weeks now and it is progressing nicely. It is still too early to share details but we’re aiming at a Q2 release for all platforms.[/p][p]Jumping ahead of a few questions here - please be a little patient - we will be disclosing game modes and technical aspects of the multiplayer in a separate communication dedicated solely for it. We know you’re itching for the details but we are not yet ready to discuss them. [/p][p][/p]
Liveries

[p]Yes, we know it’s taking forever to bring this to the game and we’re really sorry for that. Making sure this feature will not negatively impact the game’s performance we decided to give ourselves even more time to work on it. We are committed to bringing the livery / sticker system to the game in Q2 this year but it will probably be the last big update mentioned in the new roadmap. [/p][p][/p]
Steering Wheel support for console players

[p]We’re constantly looking into bringing the wheel support to consoles.[/p][p]The process will begin with adding Logitech and Thrustmaster support for PlayStation 5. This should happen in the upcoming days.[/p][p]We’re also actively looking into adding wheel support to Xbox.[/p][p][/p][p]Because this is all happening now, expect more concrete news coming without a bigger heads-up. Once we have something done and it’s ready to deploy we will do so almost immediately. To remain informed we highly recommend console players to join our
Discord server and follow our social media. [/p][p]

[/p][p][/p]

[p][/p][p]By now, you all know how we work - we try to push as many features and updates as quickly as it is humanly possible for our small team. There may be some smaller changes and fixes coming along the way but their implementation will come based on our availability to distract from the big tasks to look into other things.[/p][p]Please note that we read through your comments, suggestions, ideas and critique - we think we have a good idea of what you want, including requests that have not been mentioned in this devlog by name, and we’re doing our best to make all of that happen.[/p][p][/p][p]Let’s Drift![/p][p]The Gaming Factory Team[/p]
