Face AI opponents in a variety of competitions that have their own unique story and purpose. Each race, is not only an opportunity to challenge your skills, but also an immersive narrative that gives the race a deeper meaning. Below you will find just some of the events we have prepared for you.

[h3]Drift Race [/h3]
Score as many points as possible by drifting through challenging corners.

• Race with Ayumi - challenge your rich friend, who is known for her style and precision, by scoring more drift points than her. Push your limits, demonstrate perfect car control and leave Ayumi far behind.
  
• Touge friends - Compete with your friends in rides where precision, technique and style count. Earn drift points on the twisty mountain tracks of Touge as you show off your skills and car control.
  

[h3]Grip Race [/h3]
Speed up and be the first to cross the finish line.

• Race against Satoru - Challenge your greatest rival and be the first to reach the finish line. This race is not only a matter of honour, but also a battle to maintain the good reputation of the Hasashi family.
  
• Race for a date- Outperform your rival to win the heart of Aoi. You must show your skills to the highest level, be fast, decisive and indefectible. Remember, what's at stake is not only winning the race, but also the chance of a special date with the special girl.
  

[h2]Storyline and characters[/h2]
The plot of JDM: Japanese Drift Master is set in the fictional Japanese prefecture of Guntama. The area is inspired by the mountainous region of Honshu. If you are familiar with Japan's famous drifting tracks, you will find many similarities to the real world.

The story presented through manga (a Japanese comic book), portrays the story of Hatori Hasashi and his path to becoming the titular 'Scorpion'. This model student and son of a traditional Japanese family takes his pride and arrogance to the race track, where various rivals await him. In addition to Hatori, players will meet a number of side characters who will play an important role during Scorpion's rising:

• Aoi Ishida is a girl from a traditional family who has known Hatori since they were children. When they start dating, she supports him in every way she can, especially on the track.
  
• Ayumi Kurama is a rich girl raised by a single father who fulfills her every financial whim. She is successful in everything she does, including drifting. However, if victory is at stake, her friendship with Hatori may be at risk.
  
• Satoru Hayashi very quickly becomes Scorpion’s main rival. He is cheerful and reckless, but his family is poor, so he does not feel like a part of his school. Satoru’s car belonged to his uncle, a famous drifter.
  
• Kaori Kato is Aoi’s best friend. This artistic girl works at a nearby paint shop. Independent and progressive, she always supports Aoi, even if she believes Hatori isn't a good boyfriend.

The free prologue JDM: Rise of the Scorpion is an introduction to the story, which will continue in the full version of the game. JDM: Japanese Drift Master is coming this autumn, so add it to your wishlist on Steam now!

There is only one week left until the release of the prologue of our game JDM: Rise of the Scorpion! This is an incredibly important moment for us, and we can't wait for you to join us in this adrenaline-pumping world of Japanese roads and incredible racing.

Over the past few months, we've been working hard to make sure the prologue gives you the best experience possible. Here's what you can expect:

• Expanded storyline: Learn about the origins of Hatori, Aoi, Ayumi, and Satoru. The story will be presented in manga (Japanese comic book) form, giving you a deeper look into the world of our characters.
  
• New locations: Visit new corners of the map, including the homes of the Hasashi, Ishida, and Kurama families, as well as the scenic roads around Lake Haikama.
  
• Exciting car events: We have prepared new challenges for you to test your drifting and racing skills.
  
• New cars: You will have the opportunity to test different cars that will prove themselves on winding roads as well as in high-speed street races.
  
• Interactive smartphone: A new communication system that will allow you to keep up to date with the events and history of the game and receive further tasks.
