Sometimes It Takes a Good Soldier to Find the Right Weapon Pair

You’ll need the right weapons at the right times as you go about exterminating The Meat from our world! What better way to decide than right here, right now?

We’ve previously laid out every weapon upgrade in the demo–now we wanna hear YOUR preferred weapon combos when you’re out battling THE MEAT!
Check out some of the example weapon pairs below!
1. (S) Shotgun Spreader + (U) Ultra-Burst Laser Gun
In this first case, you can take on The Meat up close and personal using the Shotgun Spreader, or you can focus your aim at obstructive enemies or boss class monsters using the Ultra-Burst Laser Gun! Possible trade-off? Let’s hope you don’t prefer high rates of fire!
2. (H) Heavy Capsule Launcher + (E) Energized Curving Particle Railgun
If you wanna bring the pain against The Meat, you’ll wanna come prepared! Coupling the Heavy Capsule Launcher with the Energized Curving Particle Railgun is sure to yield destructive results! The only possible trade-off? Expect your projectiles to travel slowly!
3. (B) Plasma Arc Blaster + (E) Energized Curving Particle Railgun
The Plasma Arc Blaster gives you an extremely high rate of fire coupled with the power of the Energized Particle Railgun! Mow down hordes of the common Meat monsters, and annihilate obstructions and flying enemies with the Railgun! Possible downside? You might wanna pay attention to all those projectiles on the screen!

Another Look at the Railway of Death

Get a glimpse at what to expect from the newly updated Train level in the Iron Meat demo!
1. From Clean to Infected!
Originally, all of the flying cars in this level were untouched by The Meat plague. But now, you can look forward to these flying monsters of flesh and crude designs!
2. Goodnight, Moon…Wait, What Happened to the MOON?!
Before the update, you may have noticed the crescent moon in the background as you progressed through the Train level. This time, we’ve added some detail to highlight the fact that our once docile celestial pal has now become the den of MEAT!

As a bonus, you’ll also notice the Meat Headlaunchers that once took aim from inside the passenger cars have now been replaced by half-human, half-snakelike monsters! Same difference! Just aim and fire!
3. Take This With You!
One easy-to-miss change is that passing police cars will now drop weapon upgrades for Vadim! Use these to your advantage!
4. Where’s the Body?!
In lead developer Ivan’s words: “The Bubblemaker now has a corpse.”
5. Now You See Me, Now You Don't!
Also from Ivan: “The small turrets have been removed because they are difficult to hit and hard to notice.”

Tell Us Your Favorite Weapon Upgrade!

You'll find a host of weapon upgrades for your standard issue rifle across all three sectors in the Iron Meat demo! But which one do you think reigns supreme above the rest?
1. M: Energy Machine Gun
The Energy Machine Gun utilizes larger rounds compared to the standard issue rifles and deals more damage. Upgrading this weapon further will give it two rows of fire and deal even more damage!
2. B: Plasma Arc Blaster
The Plasma Arc Blaster fires a curved round of super-heated plasma that covers a wide vertical range. Upgrading this weapon further will give it a slight damage boost, while maintaining its rapid rate-of-fire!
3. Shotgun Spreader
This weapon fires a burst of three shots at once. Its upgraded form adds two more rounds into the mix, while increasing its damage output!
4. H: Heavy Capsule Launcher
This launcher fires large capsules filled with energized plasma that explode on impact. While upgrading this gun gives it arguably the highest damage output in the game, its extremely slow rate-of-fire is maintained.
5. E: Energized Curving Particle Railgun
The curving rounds of energized plasma explode into a burst of three rounds upon coming into contact with enemies. The damage output from this weapon's upgraded form rivals that of the Heavy Capsule Launcher, while possessing a slightly higher rate-of-fire.
6. U: Ultra-Burst Laser Gun
As a weapon that fires long streaks of concentrated plasma, the Ultra-Burst Laser Gun is likely the best choice for focusing down singular enemies. Its upgraded form keeps its somewhat slow rate-of-fire, but its damage output is increased!

Not sure which weapon upgrade you'd prefer to use?

Tank, Train, or House?!

Which of these meaty monsters piques your interest the most?! Is it the TANK, the TRAIN, or the HOUSE?!
1. THE TANK
A former Earth Counter Invasion Force tank infected with the Meat appears at the end of the Forest zone! Armed with a Meatball launcher, dual radiation cannons, and toxic bubbles, the Tank boss is a terrifying menace that must be eliminated!
2. THE TRAIN
Deep in the forgotten tunnels of an abandoned trainyard, a horrifying Iron Serpent awaits for its next meal! Having been completely consumed by the Meat, this former train and its accompanying locomotive cars now comprise an all-consuming monster with a gaping mouth, an ability to summon Blat and Dragonfly creatures, and a vomit attack that spews out its gory innards!
3. THE HOUSE
Among the ruined buildings in the City zone, there is one that has been infused with the Meat! This monster, hidden behind a solid wall of bricks and concrete, unleashes a host of attacks, like smaller mouth turrets, dropping building debris, using twin Meat appendages to launch fiery projectiles, and releasing Blats and Dragonflies from Meat spawners.

We’re curious to see which boss you like the best, so far!

Not a fan of the Tank, the Train, or the House? That’s OK! Take on each of the three bosses RIGHT NOW in the Iron Meat demo!
