Developer's Plan for June & 1.02C Hotfix

Dear Reforgers,

First and foremost, we would like to extend our deepest apologies to the players who have consistently supported and cherished our game. The pressures of development necessitated an earlier-than-ideal launch, and we fully acknowledge the numerous issues you encountered, which detracted from your gaming experience. For this, we are truly sorry.

Despite the game’s shortcomings, we have been profoundly moved by the dedication of the Reforger community. Your unwavering commitment to the world of Freeland—coupled with your invaluable feedback, encouragement, and patience—has been an immense source of motivation for our team. We are pleased to share that after three weeks of relentless effort and intensive updates, the game has reached a stable state, with the majority of critical bugs now resolved. While challenges remain, we are confident in delivering a significantly smoother and more enjoyable experience moving forward.

Looking ahead, our focus this month will remain on addressing residual issues to further enhance stability. Beginning next month, we will shift our attention to optimizing gameplay and developing new content, aiming to expand Freeland with fresh experiences and untapped possibilities.

  • Fixed an issue where players could scoop up stunned enemies during the encounter map, causing world map animation errors.
  • Fixed an issue where some stores' inventories would not refresh after time had passed on the world map (including the merchants in the Ronin Camp and the skill tree merchants in the Stirrup Town Mercenary Guild).
  • Fixed a rare issue that prevented saves from loading.


[h2]Optimization Improvements:[/h2]
  • Player party members are now allowed to autocast spells when attacking practice dummies.
  • Triggers no longer automatically turn off after being modified (previously this was done to prevent triggers from being edited in combat and causing incorrect effects).

  • Fixed an issue where [Adventurer Heroes] and [Bandit Heroes] on the world map might become unable to attack or move after spawning.
  • Fixed an issue where the probability of unlocking locks was incorrect.
  • Fixed an issue where the mercenary still displayed the hiring dialogue option after joining the player.
  • Fixed an issue where the character was stuck in the "grabbing" state and could not act in certain situations.

  • Edited and improved the multi-language localization of the game prologue and some main lines, and the optimization of localized text will continue.
  • Optimized the shooting effect of the avatar.
  • The initial combat style of Aldus was changed from ranger to sharpshooter.
  • Maps were added for most of the story mission-related dungeons.
  • The fog of war in Greentown was removed.
  • The UI images of the caravan were optimized.
  • Optimized (reduced) the caravan model on the world map.
  • Optimized the navigation path in the dungeon to avoid some problems that may get stuck in inaccessible locations.

  • Fixed an issue where the random quest targets generated by the Wildmage Association could appear in unreachable locations.
  • Fixed an issue where some mage clothing was incorrectly restricted to females only.
  • Fixed hand IK errors when moving polearms.
  • Breakfasts given in the crafting room of the tavern will restore 20 points of satiety.
  • Drinks given in the tavern dinner will restore a small amount of morale.

Brea woods: An Adventure: Fixed the issue where the player may not update the quest stage when picking up quest items, resulting in the quest being unable to progress.

Abandoned Farm: Evil with evil: Fixed the issue where if you complete the Fire Seed Emerald of Felice first, you still need to perform a ritual when returning to the wolf monster. Evil with evil: After completing the quest stage of giving Felice the Emerald, destroying the Cursed Doll and returning to the altar did not trigger the subsequent plot advancement.

Stirrup Town: Instrumental And Vocal: Fixed the issue where, after the decision to hold the competition, if you did not complete or directly reject the commission of either mentor after talking to the two mentors, you could go to the dean in advance to tell them that you planned to cheat. Instrumental And Vocal: Fixed the issue that the final reward caused the dialogue to freeze after choosing to help Mas and reject Furyk. Velasis Island: Love letter: Fixed a bug where the three sirens were not hostile after the battle started. Love letter: Fixed a bug where the dialogue did not pop up after killing the three sirens and saving Borden, causing the quest to fail to progress.

The Big Market: Devil of ghost lotu: Fixed a bug where Avicenna had a chance to spawn in the Grand Market after completing the quest.
