v.1.0.1 more hotfixes

Just like last post, I've been doing several hotfixes every day throughout the weekend.
I'm committed to fixing issues people are running into, so thank you for all the submitted reports!

Since that last post, the changes have been:
Settlers following you will now teleport to you if you're too far away.
Made a bunch of memory optimizations throughout the game.
Fixed audio initialization sometimes causing a crash when no/invalid audio device was detected.
Fixed spiderite armor showing set bonus stats twice.
Fixed rare crash during loading of a player that is not on the same level as you
Fixed not being able to rename chests with a controller.
Fixed possible crash when using a discovery map while the game is auto saving.
Fixed possible crash when attempting to make settlers guard a specific area.
Fixed Getting Hot achievement not working.
Fixed placing tiles not removing invalid objects on the same tile.
Fixed a spelling mistake in the initial 1.0 notice.
Fixed Pest Warden body collisions dealing too much damage in non-incursions and too little in incursions.
Fixed "Time for an upgrade!" perk dropping alchemy shards instead of upgrade shards.
Fixed Demonic set bonus crashing dedicated servers.
Fixed settlers sometimes getting stuck at the edge of a settlement when they're sent on a mission.
Fixed soulseed armor ability exploding pets and mounts.
Fixed rare crash when mobs are trying to find a new path.
Fixed possible crash if a large part of the world doesn't have a specific biome.
Fixed Empowered and Overpowered achievement completing by just equipping one piece of armor.
Fixed possible error where summons could cause crash if they were too far away from their owner.
Fixed Retirement home presets spawning with deep sandstone door.
Fixed place sound somtimes playing twice on first click.
Fixed being able to overlap settlement bounds if they were disbanding.
Fixed deep swamp sometimes not spawning Mycelium or Life Quartz.
Fixed Katana prset not spawning correctly.
Fixed sometimes talking to the elder not working or causing a crash.
Fixed Sapphire right click event sometimes causing crashes if the owner could not be found.
Fixed Void Claw able to spawn as incursion tablet loot.

Sublime sandbox RPG Necesse is finally finished, and it's washing away my Terraria blues

With Terraria 1.4.5 still off on the horizon, I've got some good news. While Re-Logic continues to hone and polish the next big update, another of the best sandbox games on PC has just hit 1.0 after six years in early access, and it's a whopping 50% off to celebrate. Hey everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the 1.0 :D

Since launch we've been monitoring and fixing bugs submitted by all of you!
We upload them pretty regularly, so that's why you'll see often there is a new update.

So far these have been:
Fixed supporter pack not being detected properly
Fixed boomerangs sometimes knocking enemies toward you instead of away.
Fixed placing objects just outside the place range causing desync.
Fixed placing settlements just outside other disbanding settlements causing overlapping settlement bounds.
Fixed possible freeze when players are loading new regions.
Fixed possible crash when getting settlement notification updates without having loaded in yet.
Fixed possible crash when hitting stuff with Crystal Bullets.
Fixed possible crash when hitting stuff with Amethyst Sword.
Fixed trap arrows causing crashes when they hit something.
Fixed rare deadlock when rendering cave moles.
Fixed being able to place invalid waystones.
Fixed possible crash caused by fishing while loading.
Fixed mod upload form crashing.
Fixed frozen enemies in snow caves not thawing when hit.
Fixed rare crash when receiving a sync update from the server while connecting.
Fixed possible crash when settlers try to return to the settlement without being loaded anymore.
Fixed first few languages translation credits not showing.
Fixed Void Claw being able to spawn on early game raiders.
Fixed a bunch of weapons having the wrong enchant cost.
Fixed possible crash when changing audio device while sounds are starting to play or getting stopped.

Can I still use my old characters in Necesse 1.0?
  • Yes.
Can I still use my old world in Necesse 1.0?
  • With the new world generation in Necesse 1.0, you have to migrate your old world into the new world generation. It essentially means that you'll insert your old islands/settlement into the new world generation. If you'd like to see how this works, our lead developer Mads showcases it live in action in this video:

Do my mods still work with Necesse 1.0?
  • Most mods likely won't work on the launch of 1.0, seeing as we've made a lot of changes to the Necesse codebase. Our modders usually get the mods up and running again within a couple of weeks though. Shoutout to our modders :)
Is Necesse going to keep getting updates after version 1.0?
  • Yes. We've still got a lot of cool stuff planned and will share a new roadmap soon!

Completely overhauled balance and progression throughout the entire game.
Reworked settlements to have bounds and added the ability to have more settlements on one map.

Settlements can now be expanded in the settlement settings menu.
Gateway Tablet Tier is now capped at Tier 10 instead of Tier 6.
Equipment can now be upgraded to Tier 10.
Gateway Tablets now have 2 Incursion Modifiers from tier 4 to 7.

Stink flask buff is now considered important.
Increased the item upgrade cost during incursion stage.
Increased the amount of upgrade shards you get back when you salvage a higher tier item.
Lightning Hammer attacks will now no longer go through walls.
Reduced Lightning Hammer resilience generation.
Reduced the speed of Mother Slime earthquake attack.
Increased the amount of mana regen from mana regen potions.
Game freezes will now show the crash report to help solve them.

Fixed Deep Rock tile having the wrong map color.
Fixed Incursion Flamelings always spawning in the bottom right.
