Necesse will be on the PC Gaming Show on June 8th!

Hey everyone!

I hope you’ve all had some time to enjoy The Forgotten Depths update. We’ve been working on a lot of super secret cool stuff here at the office, that we plan on sharing with you all soon enough!

Did you know that the PC Gaming Show is happening in 10 days on June 8th? It’s an awesome game showcase with over 70 hot game announcements! It’s hosted by none other than Sean Plott (Day[9]), Frankie Ward and Mica Burton!

Sounds like a great show for your favorite video game to announce some super secret cool stuff if you ask me!

v0.32.1 Hotfix build 18204230

Just a small hotfix for a couple of issues found and translation updates.

Changes:
- Fixed mosquito mobs crashing the game when no audio device is present.
- Fixed settlers not updating their max health correctly after being revived.
- Updated community translations (thank you translators!)

Servers need to get updated as well to fix the settlers health issues.

v0.32.1 - Hotfixes and feedback changes

Hey everyone!
Thank you for all the feedback and bug reports since the update. I've been pushing out smaller hotfixes for some of the critical issues throughout the weekend. This one is a bunch of smaller changes based on feedback from you all :)

Changes:
Added recipes for Spirit Urn boss summon item.
Added merchant shirt and boots to the stylists shop.
Spirit Corrupted state in the Plains deep caves will now be active long and have a longer cooldown.
Dryad Sentinels will now start in their hostile state when spawned by Banner of War
Makes The Soulstorm weapon land its projectile much faster.
Renamed new trinket found in Deep Plains caves to Spirit Board.
Increased the total wealth and wealth gain per day of Pawnbroker.
Buffed Dryad Barrage damage and adjusted how it uses mana.
Increased the max mana Dryad Hat gives.
Updated community translations (thanks translators!).

Fixes:
Fixed crash when joining a level where TicTacToe has ended in a draw and is fading out.
Fixed possible crash when there is a bit of desync with the new glyph traps.
Fixed possible crash when using the new dryad haunted weapons and there is some desync.
Fixed pawnbroker still getting counted for the Complete Host achievement.
Fixed popup text that appears when using a bow or gun without having ammo.
Fixed magic glyph traps acting on summons and other non-interacting mobs.
Fixed ruby shields not blocking enemy projectiles when not on a team.
Fixed piercing projectiles sometimes counting multiple hits, especially during PvP.
Fixed using item set proxies sometimes not updating armor stats and buffs.
Fixed trader settlers shirt texture when sitting down.
Fixed missing trader settler icon in the settlers help menu.
Fixed hitting priced animals walking out causing angry neutral settlers.

Hotfixes throughout the weekend:
Fixed issue when traders are picking up too many items of the same kind.
Fixed possible crash when talking to a settler and getting and update to their shops current stock.
Fixed not being able to recruit new Trader settler.
Fixed not being able to change look with the Stylist.
Fixed smoke puff particles causing crashes on dedicated servers.

You can of course always choose an older version by right clicking Necesse in Steam -> Properties -> Betas.

Co-op base-building survival game Necesse v1.0 due this year, The Forgotten Depths update out now

Necesse is a wonderful mixture of base / village building, exploration, adventure and survival with support for solo and co-op play. They've teased the 1.0 update is due out this year, along with The Forgotten Depths update out now.

Terraria style sandbox RPG Necesse drops surprise new biome and a sale

If you can't wait for the Terraria 1.4.5 update to land, fellow Steam sandbox RPG Necesse has a big patch of its own on the cards. Incorporating a top-down perspective reminiscent of Stardew Valley with city-building and settlement management aspects akin to Rimworld, the co-op game has earned itself a 94% Steam review score from players. As special thanks to the community for its support in 2025, developer Fair Games has just surprise-dropped a brand-new update along with a Steam sale discount.
