Revita - What are we currently up to?

Hi everyone, Ben here!

Now that things are calming down a little in regards to major crashes and bugfixes, though we are still working on remaining fixes no worries, we also started to work on incorporating some of the feedback we have received, be it via reviews, the steam forum, discord, twitter, etc. But since not everyone is following the Revita Twitter, or is on the Discord, I wanted to share some of the stuff we have been working on on here as well. =)

Please keep in mind, a lot of this is very much work in progress and might still change drastically till it will be made public, which will still be a good while.

First off! We heard a lot of people saying that chests, felt a bit weak compared to statues and they would like some more agency when it comes to putting together their relic build, so we are introducing chest drafting!

Not just making chests a bit more interesting, but also giving you quite a bit more control over where your build goes.

Next up, we also heard from a lot of people that they didn't like how boss rewards and mementos were handled, or that boss rewards could be a bit more bombastic. We are listening and working on a little something :P

These are just a few of the things we are currently working on. Aside from that, we are also working on buffing a lot of the more uninteresting common relics, after a lot of people have brought up that a lot of common relics, usually simply aren't worth going for. We also have plans to update the proc gen system for the room designs in the near future, to potentially allow for faster load times and more varied and interesting room designs, but thats not set in stone yet.

Either way, I hope this has given a bit of insight into what we are currently working on and while it's probably gonna be a bit till the patch with these bigger changes will be made public, we hope you are looking forward to it! We are probably also going to have a sort of beta test once we are getting closer to release of this patch, in order to ensure that these changes are implemented smoothly and are enjoyed by the majority of people.

We can't wait to share more with you, but till then, feel free to follow us on Twitter or join our Discord to be an active part in the discussion.

See you next time!
- Ben
