Revita 0.4.3 Updates Notes :

Hi everyone!

We have heard your feedback and we made an update with a lot of bugfixes and some gameplay tweaks. Spoiler alert!



  • Bugfixes :

- Fixed remaining enemy spawn crashes
- Fixed the soul torches crashing when destroyed by a weapon rather than a bullet
- Fixed visual bug with the Hotspring, where it would squish shields even though you are at full health
- Fixed the issue where you can stand right next to Anger and not get hit
- Fixed the Powercell relic
- Fixed the time capsule relic giving you non upgradeable relics
- Fixed various text issues and some information not displaying for some relics
- Fixed a bug where you vertical speed wouldn't reset upon interacting with a statue
- Fixed Boss music being able to overlap with the death music
- Fixed a bug where Blueprint rewards for achievements wouldn't drop properly
- Fixed the NPC talk icon not showing up again after opening the tinkerer ui
- Fixed guard flies getting stuck outside of the room
- Fixed a crash regarding enemies with a shield aura
- Fixed a bug where enemies could be affected on the first frame of their spawn animation
- Fixed Freeze and Slow Status Fx not working after freeing an NPC
- Fixed an issue where if you get hit the frame after deactivating the shield Subweapon, you could lose your gun
- Fixed poison traps spawning on secret exits
- Fixed the crystal rose relic being upgradeable
- Fixed Health locket relic not working if you have 1 hp but shields
- The burning sock relic now applies the burn status fx
- The Idol of Fury relic now does what it’s supposed to do
- Updated the boss defeat sequence, so you can't be hit anymore while it happens
- Fixed the Shop upgrade not working
- Trap skull indicators now appear properly for traps on walls and the ceiling
- The Fairy dust relic doesn't stick around 8 seconds anymore
- Minor visual fixes



  • Changes :

- Elevator intro and outro animation are now skippable
- The miracle relic is now affected by Luck
- Anger’s mushroom cap and Bargaining’s spears now have outlines
- Buffed the Power cell relic (it has a use now if you get it early!)
- You can now pickup relics and pickups as soon as they appear.
- Fortuna's gambling rewards have been improved (Its now either nothing, souls + 2 pickups, or at least a rare relic)
- Soul rooms aren't locked anymore
- Shards don't cost soul coins anymore
- Resetting now lets you keep your shard modifiers
- Your Hat is now being saved between play sessions
- Removed exploits with the Denial and Anger fights

Revita's Early Access is OUT NOW!

Revita on Steam Early Access - release date Announcement!

We are working very hard on Revita and we have a big announcement today!

*drum roll*

Revita will be available in Early Access on March 3rd, 2021! You will be able to discover the first three worlds of the game (one more world than the alpha version). Take the metro and ascend the tower!

We would like to thank our 500 players who play the two first world and gave feedback to Revita's team. Thank you for your invaluable help!

Revita's closed alpha will end on February 26 but there will be an open alpha from February 27th to 28th! We will give a maximum of alpha keys during this weekend!

Revita has a new publisher - and we're coming to Early Access!



Hello everyone!

Just like we announced last week, we have several big announcements to make today!

First off: we can finally officially announce that the developer BenStar is working with the publisher Dear Villagers to bring Revita to you!

The second announcement is definitely the biggest here. Some of you have already been enjoying Revita’s closed alpha for a few months now, but most have yet to play the game; this is why we’re so glad to tell you that Revita will soon be available in Early Access on Steam! The precise launch date will be revealed in a couple weeks, so make sure to add Revita to your wishlist to be notified!

To celebrate this, here is a brand new trailer of the game, with a handful of new things to see:

Did you see what’s new in there?

That’s right: this has been your first glance at Revita’s second area, The Fungated Funnels. This brand new mushroom infested sewer area is sure to gross you out in the best way possible, and it’s coming with new enemies, new relics to unlock and so much more!

That leads us to our third news of the day: Revita’s closed alpha receives its second major update tonight, and The Fungated Funnels will make their debut in it! Just like the last update, this is also your chance to receive an alpha key if you haven’t tried it yet: one hundred new keys will be distributed on our Discord server, which you can join here: discord.gg/revita.

Here’s a detailed changelog of the alpha update:

- The Fungated Funnels:
Explore this new, mushroom infested, sewer area, with its own bunch of new enemies, unlocks and more!

- The Metro:
Bringing you from one section of the tower to the next!

- The Blacksmith:
A new Npc that can be encountered on the metro. Give him one of your relics and one of your hp containers
and he will upgrade them for you!

- Various bugfixes and other minor changes.

Revita just got its first major Alpha update!

Hello everyone!

Last week, we told you a major update was coming to Revita’s alpha and… Well, here it is!

Here’s the full changelog:

- Added the challenge room. Are you ready to face some additional obstacles in exchange for loot?
- Added the observatory, as well as celestial weapons. A new way to mix up the combat.

- Relic balancing
- Ambrosia: Now slightly weaker to not be as crazy strong (Its still pretty hecking good though)
- Silver Bullet: Is now a rare relic, but also has slightly changed functionality.
- Bloody Bandages: Now also triggers on shield damage.

- The flashes during the elevator transition can now be hidden via the "flashes" option.
- Iframes are now visible after getting hit, to make it clearer when you can get hit again.
- If turned on, the game will now automatically pause when the window is out of focus.
- If turned on, the mouse can now be locked inside the game window.
- Secret rooms now also have a visual cue to them.
- New markers for when enemies are outside of your sight.
- Enemies now appear in front of spikes, so now maggots can't hide behind them anymore.
- A special animation now plays when completing a run, since people seemed confused when dying from the metro doors.

- Minor fixes and adjustments.


In addition to this, today also marks a new distribution of Steam keys for Revita’s alpha version. Have you been one of the lucky few?
