Ether Loop News

Hey everyone! First off, so happy with the release (no game-breaking bugs, phew), congrats to the 2 people that already managed to beat the final boss (Megatherium and 莫笑笙歌)!

I'm currently making an end-game mode that will make things even more interesting once you beat the final encouter: An endless mode in which you fight as long as you can with the loot you've accumulated previously.

This will spice things up as you'll be able to "hunt" for the best loot in the base game and then battle to the death in an incredibly intense mode.
Along with that, will also be adding new weapons and events.
The update will drop right on time for the week-end!

Hey Everyone! Release date is approaching very quickly, next Tuesday at 10 am PST. I think this is the perfect time to give you guys some info on how things will unfold post-release.

I've very recently added leaderboards rankings for the time taken to beat each boss, if you're interested in speedrunning or just competing with your friends you'll like this feature a lot! Could lead to adding a game mode geared towards that if the community enjoys it.

As to what's planned right after release, which can change depending on community feedback:

- New weapons, items and random encounters
- The addition of a "cursed" modifier to weapons and items
- Release on Mac
