Welcome to yet another House Flipper 2 Development Blog!
Along with this one, there comes a serious dose of excitement!

Why is that?... Because for the first time, in House Flipper history, we could show you what building from scratch will look like!

[h3]Why is building from scratch such a big topic?[/h3]

Building houses from the ground up, on an empty plot of land is something our community has been asking us an incredible amount of times over the recent years. It's a topic we've been thinking about and discussing for many many months prior to finally making a certain decision.

With the very beginning of House Flipper 2 development, we knew that this is the time to bring it on and make the dreams of many players a reality, and here it is!


[h3]The first-ever showcase of House Flipper 2's Sandbox Mode![/h3]

Just like we previously promised, with this Devlog we decided to change things up a little bit, and instead working on a pre-recorded material, we felt like a livestream is going to be the best choice to present the Sandbox Mode!

It was probably the longest developer stream we ever hosted, but we managed to successfully introduce you to the whole process of building your own dream house in House Flipper 2:

Also, remember that this time our aim was to show you working on the exteriors only. In the future, roughly about 2 months from now, we will host another Developer Stream, in which we will delve into the topic of interior design in the Sandbox Mode.

[h3]Another month, another devlog, and more things to show you![/h3]

This month we decided to ditch the idea of a pre-recorded developer blog, and instead transition to a live devlog to show you some incredibly unique House Flipper 2 footage.
We will be streaming on the 23rd of February, 6PM CET on Twitch and Youtube and we plan on showcasing a brand new mechanic, a core one, something never seen in the House Flipper franchise before.
It's feature our community has been asking us for for ages... and well... we finally got it!






[h3]We will finally reveal how building from scratch functions in House Flipper 2![/h3]

This is honestly one of the biggest steps for the whole franchise, at least I personally believe so!
For the last couple of months we tried polishing more and more rough edges, to create something that is functional and looks nice at the same time.

Saying that, I still have to mention that of course, building from scratch is here, but there are still some finishing touches we will have to apply before the grand release! Of course you will be able to ask us anything during the stream, so feel welcome to join the stream and chat with us!

Another big thing is that we've prepared a little form which can be found RIGHT HERE, where you can tell us what kind of house you would like us to build on the stream!
We will pick one of the ideas and make that happen! YAY!

We're doing our best to make this year a breakthrough for all the House Flipper lovers and the whole House Flipper franchise, and we would love to let you know how much we appreciate you being here, and experiencing this development adventure with us!

[h3]New year, new House Flipper 2 sneak peeks![/h3]

This time, together with our lead designer - Tomek, we prepared an introduction to some of the mechanics you'll be able to use in House Flipper 2.
We included a couple of comparisons to let you know how our design ideas evolved and changed compared to the original House Flipper. I hope that this devlog can briefly show you why we decide to go for certain ideas, but remember... all of us working on the game are always open for your suggestions, especially now when we can still change a lot when it comes to our design decisions.

In February, we will meet you in yet another Development Blog, and we plan it to be a spicy one! Then, somewhere around February / March, we're planning to host the second House Flipper 2 Developer Stream, where we'll show you our progress and talk about more mechanics and new features of the game. Stay tuned and be there!!
