Ho ho ho! 🎅

The winter season is getting wild so here we come with the final Major Update of 2024 that will allow you to start your Christmas preparations in House Flipper 2! With this update, we have quite a lot of stuff for ya, both content and news-wise.
Let's unwrap the presents and take a peek at what's inside:


[h3]🎁 The "Cozy Christmas" Update comes on December 12![/h3][hr][/hr]
We're delivering a sweet chunk of content to make your snowy house designs possible! In this announcement, you can expect a bit of a sneak peek, and on December 12, you'll be able to download the update for free and check out all of its content! Along with the release you might want to go through the patch-notes list and hang out with us on the Xmas dev stream! A new Community Contest is also on the way!


So the first thing to show you should be snow... LOTS OF SNOW!

Yup, that will need some more lights and garlands! MAKE IT SHINE!


We're throwing in a bunch of new items (260 of them to be exact!) like Christmas decorations, cute nightlights, and much more!

There's a fun new project we are currently working on. A cozy game called Your Tree!

It is a cozy, relaxing game about growing trees. You choose every detail, such as trunks and leaves, change the tree's colors, and decide on ornaments around... your tree! A perfect experience to let off some steam.

It might be one of the most intriguing and innovative DLCs for HF1, make sure to check it out, especially if House Flipper 1 still holds a place in your heart! ❤️

The "Renting" feature looks great! Instead of selling your flipped properties, select a rent price and receive a steady flow of money while renting.


The team at Frozen Way also made sure to update the base game along with this DLC release, so even if Dine Out DLC is not something you were looking forward to, maybe a couple of free new features might look worthwhile:

A good example would be the fact that now you can reset houses from your office in case something goes wrong or you simply want to repeat it. If you do so, you’ll be refunded 60% of the money spent on that house.

Now... you probably know that we're still not finished with what was presented on our roadmap for this year! At the moment, all I can say is that the date 12/12 might be considered a special one for the House Flipper 2 fans! All you should know for now, is that it's the date of our next dev stream (and you may know what usually comes with that :P)

"The game should be limiting enough to not let our players go ham with this, but just in case, (as we know how creative you guys can be!) we wanna point out that everything is generally okay EXCEPT bodies/body parts. If you're still worried or not sure if your contest entry might be too brutal, contact @Reczberg through our House Flipper Community Discord, and ask directly!"


Secondly, I'm super glad that we're constantly getting feedback regarding the ruleset for Community Contests.

Proud of you guys! Even though sometimes it's not easy to read through all of the feedback we're getting, we can always count on you when it comes to discussing the future of the game, and the contests as well! I feel like the contests are an awesome journey for both the devs and the community, and I'm glad that I can count on your opinions, especially considering the fact that we don't have a lot of experience with running community events of this caliber.
