Swordsman 1.16

- Blood will no longer despawn until a threshold is met, then oldest blood will despawn, keeping blood in-game for longer and only removing old blood on an as-needed basis
- Shield grips are stiffer for more reliable blocking
- Removed Christmas decoration in the Hub
- Added Claus contest time-out ("Contest" mode stops on 12-31, 11:59pm EST)
- The resolution setting is now a slider with more control (applies changes when you release the slider, value increments of 0.1 [10%])

- Bug fix: Slashing sometimes not registering
- Bug fix: Swords sometimes get stuck in enemies (please let me know if this happens again and at what frequency)
- Bug fix: A floor chunk in the Claus map had a small gap
- Bug fix: Inconsistent weapon brightness, most noticeable in dark levels
- Bug fix: Music sometimes stops after the first soundtrack in combat levels

Patch 1.13

Swordsman 1.13 We've changed the internal versioning format to "1.00"

- Katana and Cursed Axe are now two-handed weapons
- "Weight Simulation" setting has greater impact (new default: Medium)
- Weapon weights adjusted
- Improved enemy physics
- Improved weapon handling
- Samurai attack speed reduced (excluding Boss)
- Zombie HP nerfed up to level 10
- A smart weapon memory system was added to prevent your 2 most recently dropped weapons from de-spawning. Each time you drop a weapon, the oldest weapon in your safe weapons list is replaced with the newly dropped one.
- Kicking is now a skill (see Skill Master) called "Taekwondo". It has a 100% chance to stagger any enemy, even if they're attacking, but with a cooldown cost. Upgrade the skill to reduce the cooldown.
- Chest stabs (near and around the heart) are instant kills for normal enemies, and deal greater than normal damage to bosses
- The "Graphics" settings tab now shows a more accurate framerate and a more accurate stability label.

- Bug fix: Edge-case loss of Telekinesis via two-handed weapons
- Bug fix: Edge-case of both hands primary gripping a weapon
- Bug fix: Problems with axes dealing damage

- Bug fix: Shield bashing (with edge) doesn't register as a hit
- Bug fix: Unreliable haptics and sound effects from shields

This patch overhauls core systems, expect some bugs!

- Two-Handed grips (see "Grip Type" descriptor on weapons in Blacksmith)
- Swords and Daggers can be reverse gripped now
- Improved weapon hitbox accuracy
- Improved weapon collision reliability
- Improved enemy body physics
- Improved weapon handling
- Improved Zombie footstep sounds (in Horde mode) to hear them coming
- Increased frequency of Zombie moaning
- Added "Ultimate Swordsman" mode, available to new save files via Settings > Game
- Added "Passive Enemies" modifier (they will not attack or block)
- Replaced the loud song in Horde mode with a quieter one (total of 2 soundtracks)
- Removed Halloween decorations in Hub

- Bug Fix: Zombies in Horde can sometimes stop each other from passing through doorways
- Bug Fix: In the Arena screen, one warning pop-up appeared behind some UI elements
- Bug Fix: Zombies sometimes glide along floor when attacking
- Bug Fix: Invisible ceilings in some houses on Horde map
- Bug Fix: Battle Axe only does damage from one side
- Bug fix: Weapons can be gripped at the blade, which snaps the grip to the handle
- Bug Fix: A wall in the Vikings map has a collider that sticks out too far
- Bug Fix: Floating lid behind the bar (in the inn) on the Horde map
- Bug Fix: Charged boss weapons that are dropped emit too much light
