Cosmos Update 2.2.6 - Enemies Of The Rift

Cosmic Rift Modifiers

Welcome Back Co-Pilot, We are happy to inform you that R&D have been working on a brand new Rift Infusion Cannon that allows us to directly modify the Cosmic Rift and siphon the power. Management want you drain these Cosmic Rifts of all their Energy and return alive this time.

Here's what we know so far:
- Cosmic Rifts can be modified by flying to the event horizon and selecting a Modifer for the Rift Infusion Cannon to focus on, Then stand back and watch collect the energy (Any kill anything that tries to stop you)
- Rift Modifiers get more powerful the more you choose the same modifier, but at a cost of consuming more Rift Energy
- There are over 120 different Rift Modifiers to find so expect some Chaos!
Changes to Base Gameplay

- Ensouled Co-Pilots have been replaced with "Enemies" which come in 10 different types, the harder and more powerful enemies can be found as more Rift Energy is consumed
- All Cosmic Echos have custom Rotation movement that goes from their previous rotation to the new rotation preventing the weird and hanky snapping that was seen before
- Majority of Cosmic Echos have had their arsenal updated and summon enemies as part of their ability set
- The intergalactic Merchant has stocked some new wares in the shop and with the new addition of GOLD as drops from enemies and the ability to Summon the Intergalactic Merchant via the Rift Modifier screen you can be guaranteed to be able to buy Items or Repair your starship at least once
- Multiple Artifacts and all Boons and Curses have had their Images updated to better match the effect
- Updated the Compendium with all the new Information, Please check out the new changes if you are unsure on specific mechanics
- All Cosmic Echo stats are now tracked, and on completion of a Cosmic Rift (Or Death) you can see how well you did for each fight


Other Changes/Upgrades

- Updated the visuals of the Cosmic Rift, Rift Border, Rift Opening and Rift closing particle animations
- Updated the Main Menu environment to use better lighting and added animations for entering/exiting the starship hanger
- Enabled Anti-Aliasing to prevent the hard edges made by all Voxel meshes
- Updated the Crosshair and Cursor customisation to show what the changes look like to the Cursor/Crosshair that is not currently being used
- The Railgun now no longer has a critical hit zone you have to watch but charges 25% faster and deals 10% more damage
- Weapon shots are now 100% Accurate by default
- Multiple Starships have been re-designed like our "Starfinder" Starship awarded to those who are willing to pay the price for this Foxy looking ship!

Triggering Death Prevention grants increased critical hit chance and attack range for 10 Seconds

Stores the current location of the Ship, Reactivating the item teleports you back to the location
[h2]Omni-Prism[/h2]
Using Blink has a 20% chance to restore a blink charge and a 10% change to restore all Blink Charges

Summon Goro to help you kill Cosmic Echos, He grants Items and Heals you when you kill a cosmic echo

After scoring a critical hit, Stellar Flux Cannon emits shockwaves that damages nearby enemies

Killing an Enemy increases Max Health by 1
[h2]Delayed Reaction[/h2]
Weapon shots take time to arm but travel much further

Deploy a cluster of Orbital Mines around the starship
[h2]Critical Collector[/h2]
Critical Strikes have a 1% chance of generating Gold
[h2]Shattershot Barrage[/h2]
Send out a barrage off missiles that shatter into mini hex missiles
[h2]Shock Nova[/h2]
Killing an Enemy shocks and damages all nearby Enemies
[h2]Healix Rockets[/h2]
Spawn homing rockets while your health is regenerating

Artifacts Updated

[h2]Ray Of Light[/h2] Now your able to shoot the Ray OF Light to deal AOE damage
Form a solid ball of plasma, Shooting the Plasma projects a wave of energy
[h2]Gray Fruit[/h2] This changes allows for a random but fan way to cycle Active Artifacts
Gain a Random stat and Gain a new Active item with full charges

Augment Updates

[h2]Liquid Cooling >> Data Transfer[/h2] This Augment has been under preforming and has been changed to do something a little more fancy and reactive, and now with the power levels of Hero Augments this matches the others in the same category. Also anyone who is a fan of the Headhunter in Path Of Exile would enjoy this Augment :D
Killing an enemy grants a random stat modifier for 20 seconds

Bugs Fixed

- Fixed a Crash in which collecting 30 or more Artifacts would cause a stack overflow and crash the game
- Fixed a bug in the Starship Hanger when hovering the Starship wings would not show the preview mesh
- Fixed an Issue with Health Artifacts not spawning on Medium/Large Rifts
- Fixed a rotation issue with the M3CH Golden Echo causing it to fly outside of the rift and become unkillable
- Fixed errors with the Weapons not showing the right mesh when equipping a new weapon and the Emissive core was misaligned
- Fixed errors with multiple boss attacks using play sound 2D instead of location based causing for global Sounds taking priority over player sounds
- Fixed multiple bosses not having contact damage enabled

Cosmos Update 2.2.6

New To Cosmos

- Ancient Shrines created from the Rift Infuser will now show a different UI prompt when attempting to activate it and also now have many more possible random results when opened
- Created crosshair and cursor customisation using colour and size adjustable panels
- Added HERO MISSIONS for each Co-Pilot, Completing these missions will grant you their Hero Augment, players can find this mission in their Missions menu on the Main Menu screen
- Added 9 new Augments (Hero Augments)

Shown below is Jay's Hero Augment:
"Enhancer" - Artifact choices have a 33% chance of showing up as Enhanced versions
Updates / Changes

- Updated the visuals for the Augments UI and tooltips menus to better show how to unlock the Augment
- Created UI animations for hovering Augments
- Updated Main menu, Co-Pilot and Mission UI menus
- Multiple menus now scale with monitor size (although full screen is recommended)
- Optimised the Menus that was using casting/binding methods which should help with navigation

Bugs Fixed

- Fixed issues with the Ancient Shrine artifact which would always trigger even if the rift infuser was not used
- Fixed visual inconsistencies with the Trophies menu not showing the correct

Rift Infusion

Welcome Back Co-Pilot, You keep telling us these Cosmic Rifts are too easy so we wanted to provide you with a challenge to rival the very cosmic echos that keep us imprisoned. In the Deep Space Scanner you will find Rift Infusers that you can take with you to empower a Rift with otherworldly power!

- Rift Infusers are consumed when you open Rift
- 3 Rift Infusers are found when completing the Rift! With a higher rift rarity being found on the harder rifts
- Black Market rift infusers are now IN STOCK at the Black Market!

Updates / Changes

- The Singularity has evolved and learned some new abilities! Be careful of the ever-moving wall of plasma
- Updated the visuals of multiple emission projectiles to use 3D renditions
- Updated the Awarded Trophy UI and Main menu UI screens to better match the environment
- Updated the Black Market UI screen to work with the NEW rift infusers

Bugs Fixed

- Fixed audio issues with multiple Active items
- You now cannot pick up a Health Artifact if your health is already full

Cosmos Hotfix 2.2.4.1

Adjustments

- Adjusted the visuals of the Cage Of Chaos spawned by The Prism
- Adjusted the spawn locations of the Cage of Chaos to spawn around the player instead of around The Prism

Bugs Fixed

- Fixed wording errors with Artifact "Ethereal Presence"
- Fixed issues with the Artifact "Coupon" not correctly triggering on the Starship Repair choices
- Fixed Issues with the NanoBot artifact triggering old unused code

Cosmos Update 2.2.4 - Shattered Domain

Shattered Domain

Welcome Back Co-Pilot, we have Intel on a possible Shattered Rift about 5 light years out, Said to be opened by The Prism. We are asking this only because we have to, Can you close it? The energy readings show this rift is nothing like what we have seen before... I suggest you bring your best equipment I expect a few casualties.
New To Cosmos

- New Shattered Domain Rift in which each Cosmic Echo is influenced by The Prism's grasp, causing every 3rd attack to pulse with energy releasing a devastating attack
- New main menu visuals to match the new update! (along with some visual updates to help clarify the menus)
- The intergalactic merchant is back with new merchandise, Interact with his store items to buy them, He also now sells Health restores for Shadow Diamonds.
- Changed Artifact (Nano-Bots) to (Jar of Nano-Bots)
- Updated the Collection menu to include the count of items collected in each category

Bugs Fixed

- Fixed wording errors with Co-Pilot descriptions
- Removed Cosmic Echo name prefix/Suffixs like "Fast Asterix of the Dragon" Ultimately these are not explained in any capacity and just are named to show the increased stats from the rift multiplier
- Fixed a bug where the timer for Blinking or Using Hex missiles would constaly keep refreshing even while at maximum charges
- Fixed Audio issues with the Black hole Generator Artifact that wasnt using the saved sound settings
- Fixed Audio issues with multiple boss projectiles not using attenuation, These sounds show now fade at distance
- Fixed issues with the back button on the missions screen in the main menu
- Fixed an audio error with the resolution selection screen using the incorrect SFX and volumes

This game is still undergoing changes and each change will fix multiple issues found by the players and Myself, I hope your enjoying Cosmos as much as I am making it. Good luck out there Co-Pilot!
