Cosmos Update 2.3.6 - Weapon Augmentation

NEW TO COSMOS
  • [p]Updated the active Artifact "CATALYST" in world item to have better feedback when targeting enemies and also allowing the CATYLIST to target any nearby enemies if the current enemy target is killed[/p]
  • [p]Increased base health of all Basic Enemies by at least 20%[/p]
  • [p]Added a Top Mounted Autocannon to the Starship that auto targets the last enemy you came into contact with. This weapon can be upgraded with some of the multiple Artifacts that have undergone changes in this patch.[/p]
  • [p]Updated the Compendium to include information on the Top Mounted AutoCanoon "TMAC"[/p]
  • [p]Updated the visuals on the Settings menu while on the Main Menu[/p]
  • [p]Updated the Particles, Audio and Visuals of the "Projectile Mines" spawned by the Artifacts "Blink Mines", "Cluster Mines" and "Mine Injector"[/p]
  • [p]Rift Anomaly "Cosmic Storm" now spawns comets in a size range of x1.0 to x3.0 with a random rotation rate to match the visuals of a real moving comet (shown below)[/p]

AUGMENTS
[p]Recall Module (Deans Co-Pilot Augment) (UPDATED)[/p][p]I have removed the "Triggering a Blink teleports all ARTH-R drones back to Dean" as it was causing unwanted interactions with multiple bosses. The new Co-Pilot Augment allows dean to empower his ARTH-R drones by using his abilities (Overcharge, Blink and Hex Missiles)[/p][p]Companionship (Deans Level 20 Augment) (UPDATED)[/p][p]Increased the radius of the Shocking Field spawned from ARTH-R Drones overlapping

Solar Cannon (Luna's Hero Augment) (NEW)[/p][p]The Top Mounted AutoCannon now has two barrels an fires twice as fast.[/p][p]Top Mounted Cannon shots are empowered while Overcharging is active

Lunaris Blessing (Luna's Hero Augment) (REMOVED)
[/p][p]Accept the blessing of Lunarius and summon 4 Protective shields that stop enemy projectiles. Using abilities evolves the shields in unpredictable ways.

  • [p]Fixed an issue with the Cosmic Echo "Cursed Skull" spawning at an incorrect rotation[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue with the Elemental Gunship (Now called Orbital Starship) not spawning when both Artifacts are collected (was spawned from Tooth/Loop Key Pieces)[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug with the Cluster Mines and Blink mines causing them to sometimes not target enemies correctly[/p]
  • [p]Fixed issues with transitioning between menus not having the correct animations and fading within the Collection Menu[/p]
  • [p]Fixed multiple spelling mistakes on Rift Anomalies, Artifacts and Augments[/p]

Cosmos Update 2.3.5.2 - HUGE CHANGES and Hotfixes

NEW TO COSMOS
  • To encourage players to find cool and unique artifact builds and ensure you are always rewarded for killing a Cosmic Echo you now will ALWAYS get at least 1 Artifact when a Cosmic Echo is defeated.
  • Added an Easter Egg puzzle on the main menu (You can start this journey in the Co-Pilot Menu)
  • Updated NEW Hover and Clicked sound for all menu buttons and Augment selections
  • Updated the "Super Computer Popup" UI and "Upgradinator" UI screens to have better visuals
  • Added confirmations for the UI screens to "Quit to Main Menu" and "Quit to Desktop" when in the Pause Menu
  • Added a visual indicator on the Rift Core showing the percent to complete the rift
  • Added a visual indicator when the final cosmic echo has been killed and is ready to be closed.
  • Updated the Minigun weapon damage multiplier from 16.6% to 33% as the weapon was preforming pretty poorly during the early game
  • Updated the Border and Rift Pocket particle effects to match the same visual style when inside the Vivid Nightmare Rift and Void Realm Rifts
  • Updated the Game Over (Completed) and (failed) Cosmic Echo death icons to show the new images of the Cosmic Echos instead of a default skull icon
BUGS FIXED
  • Fixed an issue with the Rift Anomaly "Unstable Artifacts" spawning 2 Artifacts instead of 1
  • Fixed an issue that rarely left the portal visuals still active after a Cosmic Echo is spawned
  • Fixed an issue with the Missions Menu Interface not updating correctly after a Rift is completed and you have returned to the main menu
  • Fixed an issue with the Intergalactic Merchant leaving audio playing at max volume
  • Fixed an issue with the Co-Pilot menu showing the "Hero Augment" description as "Level 30"
  • Fixed an issue with Lunarstone Co-Pilot Artifact having weapon projectile shots playing at max volume
  • Fixed an issue with Options. Compendium and Developer Codes screen not having audio when clicking the back button
  • Fixed an issue with the Menu Music always starting at 100% due to the way it was loaded
  • Fixed an issue with audio from UI popups playing at max volume
  • Fixed an issue with the Music Audio scaling with the Menu slider not the Music slider
  • Fixed Audio issues with the Level Selection and Co-Pilot menus having the back button audio trigger at x2 volume
  • Fixed audio issues with the Compendium not having audio when hovering and selecting Enemy/Cosmic Echo entries

Cosmos Update 2.3.5.1 - Hotfix Patch!

BUGS FIXED
  • Fixed an issue where exiting a Rift Pocket with the "Boon Of Observation" would remove the Increased field of view bonus from the boon
  • Fixed an issue with the Rift Anomaly "Double Curse" failing to trigger
  • Fixed an issue with the Shield Generator Augment granting bugged Artifacts with no reward
  • Fixed an issue with the Weapon Upgrade "High Yield Explosives" dealing way too much damage
  • Fixed a formatting error with the Firelord Icon
  • Fixed an issue with the Cursed Skull spawning with 5,000 HP instead of 2,000
  • Fixed an issue with the Game Logo reverting to the Original UE4 Logo

Cosmos Update 2.3.5 - Golden Echos Of The Rift

NEW TO COSMOS
  • Updated the Augment Starfire Cannon to fire along with weapon shots instead of randomly while a rift event is active. Starfire cannon also has lowered starting shot range because of this but the Starfire Cannon shots now scale with weapon shot firing range upgrades.
  • Alien starships spawned via the Rift Anomaly "Alien Invasion" now drop x5 more Gold Coins (as they are hard to defeat)
  • Updated the Main Menu scene with new Audio and SFX to make use of the New Audio system added in the previous patch.
  • Health Orbs spawned from Asteroids now provide 50 Health instead of 25 Health
  • Weapon Upgrade "High Yield Explosives" was dealing way too much consistent damage as it scales with all damage types. The damage multiplier has been reduced to 10% of all damage instead of 30% of all damage.
  • Added audio for buying and rerolling weapon upgrades at the Weapon Upgrade Station
  • Added custom audio for equipping a Starship Base or Starship Wing
  • Updated the Starship purchase menu to utilise less space with clearer information
  • Updated the Icon for Starship Base, Starship Wings and Starship Coloring to have faded locked symbols to see what the ship looks like behind it
COSMIC ECHOS
Added the old "Golden Cosmic Echos" back in as Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 Variants meaning 3 new Cosmic Echos will be arriving in the Rift! Cursed Skull, RCON-Dropship and M3CH have come back with improved abilities and updated partical effects!
  • Updated the visuals of the Cosmic Echo "Gura" now called "Exiled Starship" - Exiled Starship "Trident Ability" has been updated with new visuals, velocity and SFX
  • Updated the Second Phage shield spawned by the Cosmic Echo "Ragual", the hit points are now the exposed edges and not the laser side panels
  • Updated the Abilities of the Cosmic Echo "Cursed Skull"
BUGS FIXED
  • Fixed an issue with the Black Market Augments not being able to be purchased unless you have 10k Star shards (They cost 5k Star shards)
  • Fixed an issue with the Artifact "Ray of Light" projectile that would always crit
  • Fixed an issue with the Rift Indicator not spawning at the start of a rift or after a Cosmic Echo is killed.
  • Fixed an issue the Weapon Upgrade "High Yield Explosives" not showing any hit damage indication
  • Fixed an issue with the Cosmic Echo "Entropy" having very loud audio on some abilities
  • Fixed an issue with the Cosmic Echo "Celestial Skull" having very loud audio on some abilities
  • Fixed an issue with the Rift Anomaly "Pocket Dimension" failing to remove the Miniature Rift Pockets when the Rift Anomaly is closed
  • Fixed an issue with the Weapon Upgrade Station having the gold price shown in multiple places
  • Fixed an issue with Rift Core popup UI screen showing unintended images
  • Fixed an issue with Victory UI screen showing the Co-Pilot as deceased if the player completes a rift or not.
  • Fixed an issue with the Starship Hanger menu failing to show the unlock criteria for Co-Pilot ships when attempting to purchase them
  • Fixed an issue with the Icon for the Artifact "Firelord" in which it was using old information such as "The Flaming Sword" and "Fire Souls"

Cosmos Update 2.3.4.1 Hotfix

HOTFIX CHANGES
  • Updated visual outline on the Starship in the Starship Hanger
  • Added Audio when hovering the filters in the Augments Menu
  • Added visual outline for the Augment in the Augments Menu
  • Reduced the health on the Alien Spaceship encounters from 2500 > 1500
  • Added visual indication on all Shrines when the Rift Anomaly "Ancient Shrines" is Activated in Deactivated
  • Updated the Compendium to remove information that is no longer relevant in the game
BUGS FIXED
  • Fixed an issue with the Rift Scanner picking up rifts you haven't unlocked yet with audio but no visuals
  • Fixed an issue with the Ascension Icons Indicators not showing for specific Co-Pilots
  • Fixed an issue with the Rift Anomaly "Ancient Shrines" failing to update the Shrine Popup UI elements
