Cosmos Patch 2.2.0 - The Singularity

The Singularity...


New Additions / Changes / Adjustments

- Reworked the Co-Pilot menu to match the overall theme
- Adjusted the Satellite cameras and FOV of said cameras
- Added additional developer text In the developers menu showing the cosmic echo max hp, current attack and its damage modifier along with additional index references
- Removed Cloud rifts
- Replaced Odins Star Artifact with the Backup Plan Artifact
- Updated Overcharge, Health And Ether progress bars to match the New Boss Health Progress bars
- Updated ALL Cosmic Echo attack states, Animations and Sound effects
- Sound from Cosmic echos is using spatializition audio
- Updated the Sound effects for the Cosmic Rift using spatialization audio
- Replaced ALL Co-Pilot sprites with 3D renditions using a custom 3D render in the Co-Pilot menu
- Completely reworked the final cosmic echo (now called the Singularity) the keeper of the Cosmic Rift, harnessing all new abilities!
- Opening rifts now require an interaction, this is to prevent players for accidentally triggering the rift when flying around picking up items
- Optimised the sprites/textures/Meshes to save around 150MB of HDD space

Bug Fixes

- Fixed Issues with the Images for rifts not showing up when hovering rifts
- Fixed Text wording error with the faster chambering augment
- Adjusted Augment "Faster Chambering" was 100% bonus attack speed >> 50" bonus attack speed.
- Fixed multiple collision issues with boss hit collisions, player extended collisions and boss projectiles that was causing unfair disadvantages

Hotfixes

- Added Tutorialisation for new players when entering the main menu screen

Cosmos Update 2.1.9

CORE CHANGES

- Added new 3D meshes for all Ship skins and main menu satellite (Cosmo)
- Increased the overall rift size by 80% and added destroy satelites, starships and space station debris around the rift outskirts
- Changed the ugprade system for each co-pilot to grant you an Augment, These augments can be added to your starship augmentation meaning you can mix and match augments from all co-pilots to create wacky and fun builds!
- Reworked all cosmic echo ability sets to scale with health, The lower their health, the more dangerous the abilities become.

SMALLER CHANGES

- Fully changed the upgrades for Co-Pilot Pon (Now called Ryan) anmd changed multiple upgrades for Co-Pilots Ava, Luna, Sunny and Jay
- Adjusted challenges [End Game, True End Game and Ultimate True End Game] to be easier to complete
- Squishy Fruit now also looks at cosmic stars aswell as items and artifacts when activated.
- Items that give Health, Damage, Critical strike chance have been lowered significantly
- Removed the item stat that decreased ability ether cost and replaced it with max ether
- Reworked the artifact Regeneration Beads, It now allways heals for 30 Health, and heals for 60 if the player is below half health
- Reworked the artifact Mark of Grace: Now reads as "Gain +25 Damage and +25 Ability Damage but lose 30 Max Health"
- Reworked the artifact Mark Of Haste (was mark of grace - names have been swapped)
- The Shadow Diamond infuser now has a chance to randomly explode when you use it, increasing with every use (this is to prevent players from infinitly gaining artifacts from it during a rift)
- Adjusted the Main menu screen, Co-Pilot screen and Collection UI screens to fit with the new information
- Added a compendium in the collection log interface for players to read up on Artifacts, Cosmic Echos, Starships and Cosmic Rifts with more informaton regarding the satellite and its lore
- Reworded multiple artifacts to use correct terminology and spelling
- After the intergalagic merchant has left players will no longer see "The Coupon" artifact in the upgrade selection screen as it provides no real use
- Cosmic Critters (Now Called Ensouled co-pilots) have new 3D models, attack and death animations)
- Added vertical and horizontal tilt when moving your starship in space (Helps with ship speed identifcation)
- Reworked multiple Ship aura, Mainmenu, explosion and projectile particales to match the 3D models and enviorment
- Attack speed upgrades no longer apear on Common, Rare or Legendary items, only on Artifacts, Cosmic Stars and Augments
- Reworked artifact "Lasermancy" to work correctly with range upgrades and augment changes
- Reworked artifact "Shell of Power" which is now "Plasma Cannon" a long range, low accuracy projectile with high damage
- Reworked the player ship death animation which now uses a custom 3D model based on your current ship skin

BUG FIXES

- Fixed Issues with the health bar text and percent scaling showing only current health and not current + bonus health crom the rift multiplier
- Fixed multiple Audio volume scaling errors
- Fixed multiple spelling errors [Thank you Popout20]
- Fixed a bug relating to opening the Patch notes and level selection screen with spacebar multiple times
- Fixed errors with the void realm trophy not showing properly
- Fixed a bug with the rating achievements not working correctly
- Fixed audio scaling issues with attacking cosmic echos and opening rifts
- Fixed a bug with Deflector sheild and Luna Reaver sheild deleting cosmic critters on contact and failing to drop items
- Fixed audio bugs with the main menu buttons, scrolling clicking and hovering.

COMING SOON...

- 3D mesh replacements for all cosmic echo and removal their 2D sprites
- Full cosmic echo ability rework using lerp and vterp rotation isntead of snap rotation
- Look forward to a new rift location called "the Wormhole" player can experiment with crafting their own cosmic echo and fighting it!

Cosmos Update 2.1.8 - Bugfxies and UI Adjustments

New Additions / Changes / Adjustments

- Adjusted Audio to allways play during multiple sound instances
- Fixed Issue with Anti-Aliassing causing visual tearing with all player/boss sprites
- Added audio ques for ship health dropping below 3HP
- Adjusted the UI for selecting Co-Pilots, Its now easier to read and scales with screens correctly.
Bug Fixes

- Fixed Issues with Main Menu animations reseting when hovering any main menu buttons
- Fixed Audio issues when selecting audio references at 0% volume
- Fixed a bug with "The Coupon" Artifact causing proression issues with the Merchant
- Fixed a bug with Merchant 3rd artifact text apeearing

Cosmos Update 2.1.7 - DRAGONS BREATH

New Additions / Changes / Adjustments

- Added 15 new Artifacts in the Artifact 3 Cache
- Added Artifact cache text into all artifact tooltips to help identify which update the artifacts are added in
- Changed the Tactical Evasion Artifact; Dodging a projectile renders you ship invulnerable for 1 second
- FPS is now capped at 60 to prevent de-sinc issues with boss movement abilities and boss projectile velocity
- Changed movement for the player ship to better match the game asthetic
- Adjusted Tracer Qiao's Tracer Missile ability to extend twice as far
- Changed Music to play randomly in playlist format instead of triggering per stage.
- Added an animation when hovering Artifacts in your inventory
- Updated the Skins menu to feature AURA particles when hovering skins
- Added new loading screen and loading animation
- Dean can now primary fire weapons, But starts every rift 10 MaxHP
- Sunny Upgrade 5 changed from "Start With 50% Crit Chance" to "Start With 25% Crit Chance"
- Sunny Upgrade 25 changed to "Starts with RAY OF LIGHT Artifact and 2 Random Artifacts"
- Cosmic Dragon Boss now has 3 Stages, Increasing Health and Attack Speed ever stage that is triggered.
Bug Fixes

- Fixed a bug with a boss projectile using FPS based movement causing some unfair speed increases
- Fixed an Issue with Qiao's Missile ability failing to trigger Rocket Pod artifacts
- Fixed an Issue with Qiao's Tracer Missile ability failing to trigger the Dark Matter artifact movement speed buff.
- Fixed an Issue with Qiao's Tracer Missile ability causing it to prevent ether regeneration if you kept pressing it while having no ether.
- Fixed an Issue with the void event triggering the shrinking border on every rift
- Fixed an Issue with player Projectiles triggering hits while they are awaiting death
- Fixed Visual bugs with Star Items and Normal Items displaying incorrect upgrades in their hover HUD popups

Cosmos Update 2.1.6 - THE VOID

Changes + Adjustments

- Added 2 new difficaulties
- Updated Cosmic Critter sprites and added different sprites for when they are carrying items/artifacts.
- Helios Ascension has been changed from 150% Fire rate bonus to 50% increased Fire rate Bonus
- Increased Helios shield throw abilities velocity by 100%
- Decreased the bonus fire rate you get from upgrades from 20% >> 10%
- Increased the Health of Tier 3 + 4 Bosses by 50%
- Increased the Cosmic Dragon (T5) health from 15000 >> 25000
- Slight adjustments to the Ascension menus
- Slight adjustments to the Intro animation / Loading sequence
- Fixed a collision issue with the AutoCannon artifact projectile
- AutoCannon artifact projectile now calculates the double damage bonus after previous increase to damage additions.
- All skins are on 50% Sale!

BUG FIXES

- Fixed UI Errors and updated some visuals
- Fixed Issues with audio control in the options menu not allowing players to set audio levels to 0
- Fixed an Issue with "beam" projectiles using 10x their max speed value causing unfair projectile max speeds
- Fixed a bug with Moon Charm and Peircing Projectile Artifacts cuasing them to never decay and infinatly lag the game.
- Fixed a UI error when selecting Co-Pilot Pon in the ascension menu
- Fixed a progression issues with the Tutorial not showing the text in the correct order
