Patch notes #4

Hello Pioneers,
Glad to see you are having great time with the newest multiplayer demo!
Big thanks to everyone for playing, bellow you can find some of the many fixes we did based on your feedback.

    Patch notes:

  • Added different popup for joining a full lobby
  • Fixed slots selector while hosting game
  • Fixed wrong number of slots shown in lobby view
  • Fixed Karab weapon ADS jumping on last shot
  • Fixed some ranged weapons shortly displaying crosshair while in ADS mode
  • Fixed crafting of some melee weapons
  • Fixed pellet weapons
  • Fixed weapon part items falling through the ground
  • Fixed some chunks not loading

Multiplayer Demo! Plus Tons of Other Changes!

Hello everyone! We've got a brand new demo filled with tons of awesome changes!

  • Enemies no longer fall through the ground and crouch in certain areas
  • Fix loading of chunks in certain scenarios

  • Fix ranges for certain melee enemies
  • Fix journal items sometimes not displaying correctly

  • Improved loading stutter when entering new chunks

Improvements!

Hello Pioneer,

We are happy to announce that we have a new update for the demo!
Based on your feedback we added new features and made some improvements - bug fixes, performance, build size....
Expect a smoother frame-rate and a lot more settings you can tweak in the options menu.

Features:
- Map pin
- Look back when driving
- You can now bind dash to a standalone button
- Options updated with settings for shadows, LODs and tree distance
- Trees from unloaded chunks can now be rendered if using a higher render tree distance
- Bus damage is now visible on the model
- Enemies now attack the bus
- Destructible objects added like streetlights, streetlights and boxes, making driving much easier
- Special group of enemies and events where you can risk it for the biscuit
- Turrets!
- New events for the towers
- Changed pick up all items to a single button
- Significantly decreased initial loading time
- Many visual changes to help with readability
- Improved sound performance
- New sounds and ambiances
- Full controller support (We tested with Sony DualSense, Sony DualShock 4, Xbox One/Series, Nintendo Switch Pro)
- We tested the game on Steam Deck with Proton 9.0 compatibility and it's running with a fairly stable 30 fps


Fixes:
- Much better performance
- We compressed and removed some useless objects to drastically decrease build size (From 15.1 GB down to about 3.1 GB)
- Sound fixes to enemies and ambiance
- Many enemy fixes
- Improved loot spawning
- FX and visual tweaks for readability
- UI fixes
- Fuel now affects the bus
- Improved chunk spawning times and distance

Just like last time if you find any bugs feel free to report them on steam or our discord.

It took us this long because we have been actively working on the multiplayer. We wanted to add the multiplayer to the demo but decided it would be better to do a closed beta so we can work with players more closely to fix bugs or issues they have. We'll publish more info here and on our discord when we are starting with the closed beta so keep an eye out for that.

Patch notes #3

Hello Pioneers,
Here are the newest fixes and features we added in the latest version of the demo:

Fixes:
  • General performance fixes and optimization
  • Boss fixes
  • Fixed bug where ranged enemies can target the player incorrectly
  • Fixes to various missions not working properly
  • Fixed bug where music would continue looping in the wrong places
  • General audio fixes


Changes:
  • Items and weapons that you store in the Bus Storage will be permanent and will stay in the next run
  • Re-balance to resources and items required to craft some upgrades and weapons in DOM
  • Players can now exit DOM directly from the drivers door when driving in first person view camera
  • A notification for the first interaction with DOM so it's a bit harder to miss the bus in the first run
  • More remapping options for controls


The Skopje '83 demo will stay live for now as we continue working to bring you the best experience we want our game to provide for you.
