Hello everyone!
In this update, we have added some occult scrolls and daily challenges, and adjusted the balance of some weapons. In addition, boss skills and AI in different difficulties have also been made a certain difficulty distinction. We will appreciate if you can give us more feedback and suggestions after experiencing the new content of this update, and we will continue to improve.

    Quality: Normal
    Effect: Each shot will consume 1 additional spare ammo, and +25% lucky shot chance. Recover consumed spare ammo when triggering a lucky shot.
    Unlock: Kill [Catfish Grunt] 30 times


  • Thunder Step
    Quality: Rare
    Effect: After using shift, a thunderstorm is released, causing damage to enemies and temporarily imprisoning them
    Unlock: Kill [Lightning Swordsman] 30 times


  • Tactical Reload
    Quality: Normal
    Effect: When reloading, -20% damage taken and +30% movement speed
    Unlock: Instantly unlocked


  • Explosive Bullets
    Quality: Rare
    Effect: Non-element weapons have a 20% chance of causing an additional explosion damage to 100% of the base damage
    Unlock: Kill [Dark-faced Bandit] 20 times in elite difficulty


  • Resilient Life
    Quality: Normal
    Effect: After taking damage, restore 3% HP per second for 5 seconds
    Unlock: Kill [Elite Horsehead] for 3 times


[h3]Other Systems:[/h3]
  • Added unlock tracking function:
    The monsters killed by players will be recorded. When the new items are updated, the item that has met the unlock requirement will be unlocked automatically


[h3]Daily Challenge:[/h3]
  • Added 3 new daily challenges: [Economic "pressure"], [Elemental World] and [Explosive Carnival]
  • Modified 2 additional effects for the daily challenge [Vlad's Dream]:
    Previous: +0.9% Life-steal on Crit Hit
    Now: +1.5% Life-steal on Crit Hit
    Previous: The DMG received will cause immediate death when your HP is below 30%
    Now: The lower the player's HP, the higher the reloading consumption

  • Three weapons will be dropped at the beginning of the daily challenge, and the initial reserved ammo capacity has been increased
  • Reduced the difficulty of [Duo Fjord] in the daily challenge
  • Added traps in [Longling Tomb] and [Anxi Desert] in the daily challenge

  • Adjusted the exclusive inscription of [Dual Fang]:
    Previous:During shooting, +40% elemental effect chance for each second(up to 400%), resets after stopping fire
    Now:During shooting, +40% elemental effect chance for each second (up to 400%), resets when the charge clears

We are glad to announce that Gunfire Reborn has sold 1 million copies worldwide on November 28, 2020. We reallly appreciate your support and love over past half year and we won't make it without our amazing community! We also want to thanks for your feedback and patience, current game still needs more content, more complete gameplay, etc. We will keep up the hard work and try our best to polish the game.

Meanwhile, we will also share our roadmap and hope you guys can continue to support us.

  • Optimized the special effect when players switch elements of Talisman
  • Optimized the crawling performance when the player is knocked down


[h3]Levels:[/h3]
  • Enhanced the trap damage and slowing effect of the challenge event "Traps will be spawned beneath the hero once in a while"
  • Optimized the entrance position of Vaults in Longling Tomb-Stage 3
  • In the theme "Vlad's Dream", the additional special effects "lose 2% of maximum HP per second while fighting" will no longer take effect in the parkour Vault and the mechanical Vault
  • In response to the high difficulty of Duo Fjord in "Daily Challenge", reduced the attributes of monsters except the boss

In this update, the new gameplay mode “Daily Challenge” and the new Vault “Stone Monsters” are arriving. In addition, there are new weapons such as Thunder Storm and Bloody Drill, and new elite monsters.Meanwhile, we plan to participate “Best Game You Suck At” in the Steam Awards 2020. The gameplay themes of the Daily Challenge are still optimizing and updating. We welcome and will be truly grateful if you can provide new ideas and suggestions.   • Daily Challenge:
    Short and exciting gameplay mode with randomly refreshed themes every day!
    Unlock: Talent reaches level 35


[h3]Weapons[/h3]
  • New weapons:
    Thunder Storm: Shoot a lightning ray that can penetrate the enemy.
    Weapon Skill: Fire a lightning ball that can be detonated by the lightning ray. It will disable enemy's shield and deal direct damage on hit.
    Exclusive Inscription: +100% radius for weapon skill's lightning ball and +100% DMG for its detonation.
    Unlock: Kill [Elite Bandit Hermit] once.


    Bloody Drill:Hits on enemy will cause bleeding, and the effect is stackable.
    Bleeding: Constantly decrease HP regardless of shield and armor.
    Exclusive Inscription: Hits on bleeding enemy can deal +50% damage.
    Exclusive Inscription: The farther the enemy you hits, the higher the bleeding damage.
    Unlock: Kill [Elite Yaksha] twice.


  • Optimized the experience of using charged weapons during dual-wield.

    Lone Ranger
    Quality:Rare
    Effect:When there are no monsters around you within 12 meters, +1 layer of status for every 0.5 seconds (up to 20 layers). On the contrary, -1 layer of status for every 0.5 seconds. +1 Lucky shot chance for each layer, and +5% extra Lucky shot chance when you reach 20 layers
    Unlock:Kill [Rogue Henchman] 10 times


    Dormant Bullet
    Quality:Rare
    Effect:The fewer bullets the magazine remains, the higher the weapon damage is, up to 75% increase in weapon damage
    Unlock:Kill [Bandit Retainer] 20 times


  • Occult Scrolls Rework:
    Thunder Screen:Increased elemental effect chance, but lowered the initial damage. Damage is now affected by Shield/Armor, HP and Skill Damage.
    Thorny Carapace:Increased elemental effect chance, but lowered the initial damage. Damage is now affected by Shield/Armor, HP and Skill Damage.
    Field Support:The range of buff is now within 15 meters (up from 12 meters)
    Deadly Counter:Can now be triggered by self-damage (Self-damage caused by "Bloody Ammo" & "Capacity Overdraft" can also trigger this occult scroll.)
    Energy Sandals:Each dash now stores 12 points of energy (up from 5 points). Maximum points of energy increased to 600 points (from 500 points)
    Skill Booster:Store 2 points of energy (up from 1 point) for each crit.
    Snow Boots:Now immune to Slow debuff caused by "Heavy Shield"

    Flame Shard:
    Previous:Gain immunity to Fire DMG for 2s after receiving Fire DMG, but take 50% extra Lightning DMG and Corrosion DMG.
    Now: Fire damage +25%, and immune to the negative effects of burning effect. The additive effect is doubled while in burning effect.

    Corrosion Shard:
    Previous:Gain immunity to Corrosion DMG for 2s after receiving Corrosion DMG, but take 50% extra Fire DMG and Lightning DMG.
    Now:Corrosion damage +25%, and immune to the negative effects of decay effect. The additive effect is doubled while in decay effect.

    Lightning Shard:
    Previous:Gain immunity to Lightning DMG for 2s after receiving Lightning DMG, but take 50% extra Fire DMG and Corrosion DMG.
    Now:Lightning damage +25%, and immune to the negative effects of shock effect. The additive effect is doubled while in shock effect.


[h3]Monsters[/h3]
  • New Elite Monster:Elite Bandit Hermit
    A leader among bandits liked to summon coyotes to attack passing caravans.


  • Boss Balance Changes:Golem
    Reduced damage caused by Golem.
    Reduced total HP of Golem.
    Reduced the number of tracking stones summoned by Golem.
    Reduced damage radius of Golem's fists.
    Increased the interval between Golem's two fists, thus lowered the difficulty of avoiding attack.
    When playing as Qing Yan, melee skills can now deal damage on Golem.

  • Rework [Fiery], [Lightning], and [Corrosive] enhanced monster

    [Fiery]
    A fire ball will be periodically spawned above to attack players. However, players can break it by shooting when it is flying toward them

    [Lightning]
    Deal lightning damage to any players within 15m periodically

    [Corrosive]
    A self-explosive corrosive ball will be periodically spawned above (breakable when spawning), explosion will create an area which can deal persistent corrosive damage to players within 10m

    Lots of stone monsters show up in the vault.Watch out not to hit them, or they will be awaken and attack you.

    Traps will be spawned beneath the hero once in a while

  • Optimized the monster logbook, add derivative monsters into the logbook (e.g.,Poison Grenadier, Lightning Lizard)

  • Fixed the issue that Energy Orb's explosion special effect is larger than the actual range
  • Fixed the issue that when players are out of combat, background music doesn't switch in time
  • Fixed the issue that if players switch weapon when charging Dual Fang, the special effect of charge won't disappear after switching back to Dual Fang
  • Fixed the issue that Dual Fang is displayed in the wrong place under third person perspective
  • Fixed the issue that when players trigger elemental effect consecutively, the special effect of monster's elemental effect may be cleared
  • Fixed the issue that when players choose heroes in the lobby, Crown Prince's model is slightly vague
  • Fixed the issue that when players aim at the Vault, the notification will be displayed abnormally
  • Fixed the issue that when Ao Bai is reviving a teammate during dual-wield, the ending of dual-wield may interupt the revival
