Friday Progress Report 417
We are adding fog to the bamboo forest, our initial vision for it was to be the mysterious and spooky area of the map where people appear (will be related to the Isekai start for custom characters) and disappear, right now it is just atmosphere, there won't be anything spooky spawning inside (yet).
As soon as my brother is done integrating the fog properly we will go back to the fruit trees, we did reduce the workload to implement new trees slightly while doing the optimizations last week, so it should take a little less time to add them.
As for the plant perks, I have finished the planning for all the 37 crops and I began working on them, making icons, text and the xml files, most of them will recycle the old plant trait implementation so the code is mostly done, but some will require new implementations, the plan is to release them after the fruit tress.
Trees will also get perks, they will work slightly different I still need to finish planning them.
Next Release should come somewhere mid/late June with the axe special, tree planting, at least some of the fruit trees and the bamboo forest fog, we want to finish the Tree Update before the end of June, but you never know when it comes to game development.
After the Tree update we will work on the plant perks.
