Beta v0.2.3.0k
Hey everyone! Judge Heath here with this large update of changes and fixes, a lot of you playing the beta builds will have experienced these already, but this will be the last update before the Dark Woods Update!
The full release of that will be near the end of June, as this is such a big update with a lot of new methods and tools we used to make it over the last year or so, we really want to make sure that it’s all hooked together and stable. It WILL be accessible earlier on the beta branch (Just not right this second)! So those of you who wish to help us break it in and find all the errors we’ve missed? You can find the instructions on how to activate the beta branch in our discussion boards if you do a little digging!

- Gelricht the Centaur Mason can now be recruited to set up a store in Katarina Station after progressing to his location in Savannah F7
- Basile the Cook and Keely the Armorer will now have introductory dialogue commenting on the world and events
- Savannah F1 now features a small tutorial to introduce Ley Crystals
- Dull Ley Acumen Keys and Shards have been renamed to "Depleted Ley Crystals" and "Enriched Ley Crystals"
- Tweaked Katarina Station’s lodge house entrance for a future opening
- Updated the Protagonist’s default Dialogue Portrait
- Enemy Demon Aspirant’s Flickering Aura should no longer cause a soft lock when the unit is unable to attack on their turn
- Ev’s Rake Counter skill with upgraded ranks should no longer have an infinitely-stacking slow debuff
- Savannah F6 zombie pylon encounter should no longer be able to return the player out-of-bounds after combat
- Screen should no longer remain blacked out after exiting/loading during game over fade-out sequence
- Fixed numerous typographical issues in dialogue, cutscenes, events & items
- Restored minor environmental animations to Cloverton
- Fixed an issue where enemy Demon Neophyte/Kindling could become soft locked when taking damage during their turn
- Fixed an issue where enemy Demon Neophyte/Kindling could become soft locked after being overkilled by Kreyton’s max level Grand Plough
- Fixed a Savannah F8 side quest incorrectly tagged as a main quest
- Various backend save data changes to prepare for the future Forest dungeon
- Fixed incorrect Speedweel harvesting animation
- Covered up some terrain holes across various Savannah floors
- Fixed cut short waterfall in Savannah F3
- Fixed several typographical errors
- Fixed exception when trying to enter Tro’s Lab or load a save previously inside the lab
- Fixed quest chain for players who defeated the Savannah F3 boss before using the F3 dynamite
- Fixed exception when trying to enter Tro’s Lab or load a save previously inside the lab
- NPCs that reside in Savannah F3 after the boss encounter should now appear throughout the floor again
- Fixed environment collision in F3 to prevent player getting stuck next to dynamite
- Some Cloverton tutorial segments were only available if the calendar was on the 1st of Spring. This has been changed to non-completion of the farming tutorial instead
- Fixed broken quest chain in Tro's Lab
- Fixed Holstaur's Happy Cow trait to now properly track the amount of harvested essence
- Fixed Garst's Hold the Line ability maximum rank causing a crash
- Fixed Demon's Spark Cloud/Firestorm ability targeting 5 enemies at rank 5, now instead at rank 15
- Fixed enemy Wolf Alpha Huff n Puff ability visual misalignment
- Fixed Savannah F2 slain pirates interaction being repeatable
- Fixed Savannah floor 3’s cave ghost’s companion commentary with additional Garst dialogue
- Numerous visual & animation fixes in Katarina & Savannah zones
- Numerous dialogue & cinematic improvements in Savannah zones & romantic encounters
