G-String : A-Cup Update

Hey everyone! Today we're launching the G-String A-Cup update, which fixes various bugs, improves various issues encountered by players, and adds additional polish to many of the maps. However, when updating it's very important to keep the following in mind:

This is due to some of the levels being changed since the last update. We've added a new beta branch called previous, which will set your game back to the pre-update state, in case you do run into issues. This will be standard with updates moving forward.

  • Fixed many close caption related errors.
  • Navigating the platforming sections is now easier.
  • Polished and upscaled many textures, especially on models.
  • Many new textures added in the Kennedy Spaceport.
  • Added some sound FX.
  • Lab_rat - fixed an areaportal glitch.
  • Fixed bad water fog setting in hazardous_ai6.
  • Polished human_waste4.
  • Polished space_race.
  • Polished space_race1. (Ceiling turret added) also more holograms, projected textures.
  • Polished space_race2.
  • Polished space_race3.
  • Fixed door related issues in human_waste3.
  • Fixed some collision issues in money_is_dead2_2.
  • Fixed heat damage detection issues in hazardous_ai7.
  • Polished hazardous_ai0.
  • Polished human_waste9.
  • Fixed prop collision in hazardous_ai3b
  • Fixed collision detection issues in hazardous_ai4.
  • Sorted NPC placement in terror_management_x2.
  • Missing explosion particles fixed in terror_management_x2.
  • Fixed flickering brushes and missing textures in terror_management_x3.
  • Added sign to elevator puzzle in hazardous_ai_more.
  • Polished money_is_dead.
  • Polished murdock_air5.
  • Rain more noticeable now in the Acid Rain Section.
  • Rooftop navigation improved at the end of Money is Dead.
  • Fixed areaportal bug in human_waste8 and polished the map.
  • Fixed texturing and VVIS related errors in hazardous_ai2
  • Fixed FOV not being handled properly during cutscenes.
  • Fixed various sound system issues.
  • Game sounds now pause properly when paused.
  • Fixed developer text being shown in world during gameplay in non developer mode.

This update is the first of many large updates, with which we will continue to address issues brought to our attention by players and improve upon the game. We hope you enjoy the update!
