Greetings, this is Shadow Arena.

We want to keep you informed regarding the details of the current known issues.

Please refer below to minimize any inconveniences to your gameplay. If any additional issues are identified, we will continue to update you through this notice.

● Unable to sometimes stop an enemies movement with basic attacks.

● Once I start the game, all I see is a black screen.
- 1. Go to your Steam library.
- 2. Right-click on "Shadow Arena", then Properties.
- 3. Go to "LOCAL FILES", then "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES".

● I get the following error message: "Patch Client is already running."
- 1. Go to your Steam library.
- 2. Right-click on "Shadow Arena", then Properties.
- 3. Go to "LOCAL FILES", then "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES". * You can also force close the Patcher in Task Manager.

● After I click "Start Game" on the launcher, the game doesn't start.
- On the game launcher, click "Scan Files" at the bottom.

● My client/game language is set to something I can't understand.
- On the launcher, there is a language dropdown menu on the upper right corner. Click the dropdown menu and select your preferred language.

* Make sure to change your language from the launcher, not in-game.

● My chat is bugged out. I type something but nothing appears.
- Make sure that your Chat Language Settings match the language you are trying to chat in. On the main game lobby screen, click "Language" on the top left. There are Game "Language Settings" and "Chat Language Settings". Check the box next to the language you want to chat in, click Apply + Confirm.

● After I click "Agree" to the Terms of Service, nothing happens. 
- 1. Change servers on your launcher. If you are in Server A, select Server B (any other server), and then switch back to Server A.
- 2. Try getting back into the game.

● My game client is stuck at 0% and not progressing.
- Close the game and relaunch the client.

● Launcher is displayed too small and must be adjusted with the scrollbar
- Adjust the display scaling to 100% in your PC’s display setting and restart the Shadow Arena launcher.

● The Borderless Window setting has a white border around it.
- This occurs when you go from Windowed to Borderless Window. To get rid of the border, go from Full screen to Borderless Window.

● Launcher is displayed too small and must be adjusted with the scrollbar
- Adjust the display scaling to 100% in your PC’s display setting and restart the Shadow Arena launcher.

 
● ‘Your verification is no longer valid’ error message is displayed when clicking the Game Start button on the launcher
- Click the Settings (gear-shaped) icon at top-right of the Shadow Arena page in your Steam Library > Manage > Browse local files > Delete the “Cookies” and “Cookies-journal” file located in this folder.

 
● “Account verification has failed” error message is displayed when pressing the Start button in-game
- Please try logging in after re-selecting a different server from the launcher.


● “Content File Locked” error message is displayed when clicking the Game Start button on the launcher
- If you are playing through Steam, please try the following: Steam Library > Shadow Arena > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Local Game Files
- If you are playing through the launcher downloaded from the Shadow Arena website, please close PA PATCHER from the Task Manager and restart the launcher.

 
If you continue to experience the same issue after trying the instructions above, please provide us the exact details via our Customer Support or the launcher’s Report Error function.

■ Final Beta Schedule
* The Final Beta schedule is subject to change depending on the circumstances. Any changes will be announced on the official website.

* During the Shadow Arena Final Beta, we may perform unscheduled maintenance in order to ensure server stability, release patches/updates, and etc. However, the Final Beta will not be extended even if there is maintenance.

* The Shadow Arena Final Beta records/data will be reset after the end of the Final Beta Test, and the records/data will not be carried over to the official launch.


■ How to Register the Premium Beta Key and Preload

1) Log in to the Steam client > Click the [Games] tab in the upper-left corner > Select [Activate a Product on Steam] > Enter the Premium Beta Key.

2) Click the [View Games Library] or the [Library] tab at the top of the client > Select Shadow Arena > Click Install.

3) After setting up a nickname, pick your desired hero and enjoy Shadow Arena.

Here are the latest updates made to Shadow Arena on April 17, 2020 (Fri).

[All]
- Changed the resurrection mechanic during the Grace Period to make it not possible to change directions.
- Changed crouching to make it possible to move faster by pressing [Shift].
- Fixed an issue where the Hero would continue to move forward after jumping over a fence or wall even though no movement keys were pressed afterwards.
- Added the Auto-run function.
> Press [Caps Lock] to move at normal speed.
> Press [Shift] when you have 50% or higher stamina and your Hero will run until they are out of stamina.
> Attack or press [Caps Lock] again during auto-run to stop.
- Fixed an issue where stuns and knockback status would be removed when hit by a basic attack.

[Goyen]
- Iron Pulverizer (1): Reduced movement distance by 25%.
- Corpse Cut (2): Reduced damage by 20%.
- Corpse Cut (2): Reduced HP consumption and recovery to the following.

- Grave Digger (3): Reduced HP consumption and recovery to the following.


- Blood Flurry (4): Changed HP consumption when continuously activated from a maximum of 2,700 to 3,300.
- Jump Attack after Sprinting: Reduced movement speed by 20%.

[Gerhard Shultz]
- Unleashed Beast (RMB): Reduced stamina consumption by 20%.
- Unleashed Beast (RMB): Increased cooldown time by 1 sec.

[Haru]
- Heart Stab (1): Fixed an issue where the visual effect would sporadically not be applied when used.
- Heart Stab (1): Added a 1 sec. stun effect upon hit.
- Shadow Step (RMB): Improved to allow jumping and leaping over walls/fences while active.
- Shadow Step (RMB): Increased movement speed while active.
- Fixed an issue where the cooldown-timer UI would not be displayed after finishing a skill.

[Yeonhwa]
- Bond Cut (3): Improved to immediately turn to the direction of the camera upon use.
- Fallen Flower (RMB): Improved to immediately turn to the direction of the camera upon use.
- Fallen Flower (RMB): Changed to apply an attack speed buff according to the distance moved upon use.
> Moved at least 50% of the distance: Attack speed increased by +5% for 3 sec.
> Moved entire distance: Attack speed increased by +10% for 3 sec.
- Fallen Flower (RMB): Improved to allow you to charge in a diagonal direction if used with (W+D) or (W+A).

[Badal]
- Sleeve Tangler (2): Improved to immediately turn to the direction of the camera upon use.
- Golden Gate (4): Fixed an issue where the buff would linger if crouching or lying down.
- Golden Gate (4): Changed so that it cannot be used multiple times when there is insufficient stamina.
- Golden Gate (4): Fixed an issue where the AP buff would sporadically not be applied when used 2 or more times in an overlapping manner.
- Golden Gate (4): Fixed an issue where the enhancement buff from Golden Gate would not disappear when attacked while grabbing an enemy with Sleeve Tangler (2).
- Golden Gate (4): DP buff numbers were changed as follows.

- Last Hit of Forward Attack: Changed to no longer recover stamina.

[Jordine Ducas]
- Fixed an issue where the cooldown-timer UI would not be displayed when ending a skill with a side attack.
- Spear of Serendia (2): Reduced knockdown effect duration from 2 sec. to 1.5 sec.

[Ahon Kirus]
- Phantom Raven (RMB): Increased cooldown time from 2 sec. to 3 sec.
- Dark Mark (1): Changed DP reduction debuff at level 3 from 30% to 35%.

[Orwen]
- Arrow Storm (2): Changed to hit up to 3 shots when used in close-range against an enemy.
- Arrow Storm (2): Changed damage per level as follows.

- Twin Fairy Arrow (3): Increased projectile speed for the first arrow was by 35%.
- Twin Fairy Arrow (3): Changed the damage per level when both shots are successfully hit as follows.

- Explosive Trap (4): Changed to trigger when stepped on by a monster.
- Explosive Trap (4): Changed to explode in a chain when installed in close proximity with other Explosive Traps.
- Explosive Trap (4): Changed to no longer be triggered by jumping over it while sprinting.

[Herawen]
- Basic Attack: Reduced the attack speed by 7%.
