SA Server and NA Server Merge FAQ

As previously announced in the “SA Server and NA Server Merge” notice, the SA and NA servers will be merged to ensure intense, lively, and action-packed games.

Please continue reading for answers to commonly asked questions regarding the merge.

What is a server merge?

Two separate servers (SA and NA servers) will be combined into one server. The server merge will occur during the November 19, 2020 (Thu) maintenance. Afterwards, players from the 2 servers will be playing on the same server.

Can I still use my existing character even after the server merge?

In a server merge, your most important information is kept safe. In this case, however, SA accounts will be absorbed into the NA server so there may be some differences depending on which server you had an account.

1) If you have a nickname generated only in the NA server under your account
- You can still use your current NA server account even after the server merge.

2) If you have a nickname generated only in the SA server under your account
- You can still use your current SA server account, but rankings, tiers, clans, and friend list information will be reset. If there is an existing account with the same nickname in the merged server, your nickname will be changed automatically and you will receive a Nickname Change Coupon.

3) If you have a nickname generated in both the NA and SA servers under the same account
- You can use your previous NA server account with certain data from the SA server account combined. The nickname that you used for the NA server will be retained.

[Combined Character Information]
> Titles owned, Title progression
> Completed Challenges, Challenge progression
> Hero Mastery
> Buffs owned
> Mail received in game
> Shop storage and items in Loot Storage
> Silver
> Hero and Hero skins (If there is a duplicate Hero or skin, a different item will be given instead)

What happens if I have duplicate Heroes or skins in SA and NA server?

If you own the same Hero in both servers, you will retain the list of currently owned Heroes and you will receive Hero Selection Coupons depending on the number of duplicate Heroes owned so you can choose another Hero instead.

If you own the same Hero skin in both servers, you will retain the list of currently owned Hero skins and you will receive a Hero Skin Selection Coupon depending on the number of duplicate Hero skins owned so you can choose another Hero skin instead. If the duplicate Hero skin owned is a skin that is on sale permanently in the Shop, you may choose other Hero skins that are on permanent sale and if it was a Hero skin that was on limited sale, you may choose among other limited sale Hero skins. Items you purchased with Silver that result in duplicate items will be exchanged for Silver.

The items will be sent via in-game mail. Duplicate Heroes or Hero skins through events, you may not be eligible for and you may not receive them if the duplicate Hero or Hero skins were received from events.

What happens to the Hero Mastery Level and Skill Enhancements?

For the Hero Mastery level, the higher Hero Mastery level from the two servers will be applied. The Skill Enhancements, however, will reset and you will receive Skill Stones depending on the Hero Mastery level.

What happens to duplicate nicknames after the server merge?

If there is a duplicate nickname between the NA and SA servers, the SA server account nickname will change arbitrarily, and you will receive a “Nickname Change Coupon” in your in-game mail so you can change your nickname to one of your choosing.

What happens to clans?

The NA server clan information will be retained while the SA server clan information will reset.

Can I use previously purchased Gcoin even after the server merge?

Gcoins are purchased per account, not per character, so you may still use previously charged Gcoin after the server merge.

What happens if there are unclaimed mail?

If there is unclaimed mail that has not yet expired, they will be retained in an unclaimed state.

What happens to items in Storage and Silver?

Items in Shop or Loot Storage will be retained as they are in Storage. However, if the Storage ends up exceeding max capacity, the items will be sent via mail.

What happens to Challenge progression?

If you have only one account between the SA and NA servers, the previous Challenge progression will be retained.

If you have accounts in both the SA and NA servers, the SA server’s Challenge progression will be added onto your NA server’s Challenge data. For example, if you achieve 10 Hero kills in SA server Solo mode and 30 Hero kills in NA server Solo mode, your progression will be the sum of the records from the 2 servers after the server merge and you will have 40 Hero kills counted towards your progression.

What happens to Title progression?

The Titles owned and Title progression from the 2 servers will be combined. If you meet the requirements for a title but have not claimed it yet, the Obtain button will be activated and after the server merge, you can acquire the title by pressing the button.

Please contact the Shadow Arena Customer Support team for other inquiries related to the server merge. We will do our best to ensure a smooth transition and a comfortable start in the merged server.

Thank you.

Changes to the Customer Support Ticket Platform

Thanks to your valuable feedback, we’ve made changes to our Customer Support’s ticket submission platform during the November 5, 2020 (Thurs) maintenance.

Please refer below for more details.

■ Changes to the Customer Support Ticket Platform

Previously, when you submitted a ticket, you could only receive one reply and needed to re-submit a ticket by clicking the “Submit a Ticket” button and re-filling out all the necessary information for any additional questions or concerns, which could be quite inconvenient.

However, after the November 5 maintenance, the changed platform was improved to be more convenient by allowing you to continue to submit further inquiries when you have additional questions or concerns with the “Start an inquiry thread” button on your tickets page.

Additionally, this feature allows you to view the entire history of your inquiries and answers in a dialogue box form.

Category
Before Change
After Change

Submitting additional inquires

Must submit a new ticket

Simplified process of additional inquires with “Start an inquiry thread”

Checking inquiry content

Must check the history of each separate ticket

Can check the entire history in one ticket

However, if you want to submit a new ticket for a different question/concern, you will need to use the existing “Submit a Ticket” button to be able to receive an accurate reply as quickly as possible.

Once again, we want to thank you for your valuable feedback regarding Shadow Arena’s Customer Support, and we will work to continue improving our system. Thank you.

Hero Profile: Tantu

Tantu

Successor of an Ancient Civilization - Year 250

Tantu, a young giant, left in search of his ancestor's secretive origin. He was able to discover the remains of an "Iron Buster," which was forged using a long-lost technology. Tantu then studied the weapon and the ancient records left by his ancestors. While studying, he came to realize his purpose and decided to create the secret society called the "Dark Chaser."

| Difficulty

★★★★☆

| Combat Style

Armed with powerful and wide-ranging firing power, Tantu excels at creating combat circumstances that are favorable to him.

His ability to dish out combos is not strong. Instead, Tantu should aim to create opportune combat situations by keeping opponents at a distance with his range and inflicting quick damage during the right moments. Rather than engaging in 1v1 or head-to-head combat, Tantu’s combat style is all about maintaining distance, creating opportune moments for his skills, and knowing exactly when to go all-in.

Reload

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

Tantu loads ammunition to prepare for long-range attacks. Each Reload loads up 1 Bullet, and a total of 4 Bullets can be carried at once. Firing the Bullets causes a blast, and the middle of the blast radius inflicts greater damage. Enemies hit within a certain range will be afflicted with Stiffen. Using another skill while Tantu is reloading will cancel Reload.

Charged Shot

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

Tantu gathers energy in the Iron Buster and fires off a powerful charge. Enemies hit by the shot will be blown back and Tantu will recoil from the force. Any ammunition left from Reload will fire with Charged Shot, which will add tremendous damage to the skill.

(Ultimate Level effect: Increases projectile speed by x1.2)

Aggressive Negotiations

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

Quickly grab a nearby enemy and throw them down multiple times. This skill ignores the enemy’s Defense and Super Armor status, and Tantu can follow up with other skills following Aggressive Negotiations.

(Ultimate Level effect: Decrease the opponent’s AP by 100 after the last hit for 10 seconds.

Power Jump

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

With the power of the Iron Buster, Tantu flies into the air and lands. Tantu can fly upwards to gain higher ground on the battlefield, but he can only defend from the front while doing so, making him vulnerable to attacks from the rear.

(Ultimate Level effect: Cooldown time reduced by 4 seconds.)

Explosive Strike

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

Instantly move backwards for a short distance and smash down the enemy in the front with a fist. If there are Bullets loaded, spend all the Bullets and deal more damage to enemies in melee range based on the number of Bullets loaded.

(Ultimate Level effect: Guard while moving backwards.)
