What's New in Version 2.8.1
This update has several improvements and bug fixes, including:
- Added new ways to sort Spirits on the New Game screen. Sort by most played to find your favorites quickly; by least played to try a less familiar Spirit; or customize the ordering exactly to your liking by drag and drop.
- Six and seven board layouts now fit on all screens during New Game setup.
- Using Boon of Reimagining on Fractured Days Splits the Sky no longer leads to UI glitches.
- Fixed an issue where Starlight Seeks Its Form could undo moving presence after dealing damage with its growth option in a land, and the damage is not properly undone.
- Fixed an issue when playing with Starlight Seeks its Form, the Presence Panel of Serpent Slumbering Beneath the Island could have a distinct visual glitch.
- The game no longer gets stuck if Gather the Scattered Light of Stars is used and there are no Unique powers that can be forgotten when Time Passes.
- Visions of a Shifting Future can no longer move the Stage III Invader Card specially placed by Brandenburg-Prussia to the bottom of the Invader Deck.
- Grant Hatred a Ravenous Form now gains the damage bonus from Devouring Teeth Lurk Underfoot's Territorial Aggression special rule properly.
- If Spreading Wilds is used on a land with no Explorers under the effect of Observe the Ever-Changing World, and only adds a Wilds token, it now triggers Preparing an Element Marker as it should.
- Fixed an issue where Pillar of Living Flame could behave incorrectly when used multiple times in the same game.
- When Dream of the Untouched Land adds a new board, Powers can now immediately target a land on the new board using a source land from an existing board.
- Dream of the Untouched Land no longer gets stuck adding a new board to an Archipelago island if you have a Power Card from Aid From Lesser Spirits.
- Fixed an issue when rearranging 5 or 6 boards, a layout issue could occur where boards are incorrectly overlapping.
- Navigating through Spirits very quickly in the card library will no longer result in the background image failing to load.
- Swallowed by the Wilderness will now deal enough damage in all situations.
- Fixed an issue where Talons of Lightning could get stuck in multiplayer when used as a set-aside power in Second Wave.
- Dahan Insurrection no longer fails to end the game properly if you trigger both Coordinated Insurrection and the additional loss condition in the same Action.
- Swallowed by the Wilderness no longer adds extra damage when using a Spirit's presence affected by Settle into Hunting Grounds.
- Fixed issue in which Sweden Level 5 could still add a Town even if the Ravaged land is Isolated.
- Fixed an achievement issue where reaching elemental thresholds that Repeat a Power were not counted for achievements if they were reached using Element Markers (by Shifting Memory of Ages).
- Dragging to rearrange a Spirit summary panel when it (or the one dropped on) has a Reclaim 1 no longer causes the game to get stuck.
- Ward the Shores now properly considers lands under the effect of Absolute Stasis for its victory condition check.
- If Cast Down Into the Briny Deep disconnects the island, playing a Second Wave game now requires you to revert the island to avoid an unplayable situation.
- Fixed an incorrect interaction between Starlight Seeks Its Form growth undo and Bargains of Power and Protection.
- Fixed a situation where stacked invader cards were resolved in the incorrect order.
- While Ocean in Play is in effect, and Weave Together the Fabric of Place expires, separating a combined ocean and land, Presence can now move properly to either land.
- Fixed a problem where Seek Safety (Level 2) would not allow you to gather a Town into a land with City in some cases.
- The Struggles of Growth (Leave Behind option) no longer allows you to move the same Presence twice.
- Improved how Invaders Surge Inland works with Isolate so you do not have to enable the adjacency prompt.
