Hi dear Steam users,

TLDR:

Mirage 0.3.5 will be released at the beginning of January on Patreon and Steam. Why 0.3.5 is not released yet? Some bugs need to be fixed, performance for multiple girls need to be improved.

Mirage 0.4-alpha will be released at the end of January 2021.

In this video I show improved posing in 0.3.5 in Desktop version.

In January I'll show you cloth physics.


Longer version:

It's been 1.5 months since my last news update on Steam. Time flew by very fast. I have made big progress on my custom C++ physics engine. It has more than 13,000 lines of source code already. I strongly believe that highest quality physics (cloth, hair, human body, liquids, smokes, rigid bodies) is the differentiator that will make Mirage stand out among other projects and that's why I concentrate so much on it. Corona Virus is a bitch but thanks to it I was able to work very closely on daily basis with my university professor and his colleagues and they helped me improve physics engine dramatically. Mirage is a long term project and even if you don't see news updates frequently it does not mean I stopped working on it. I just prefer to post when I have something significant to share with you, not "I added a green button!!!" type of posts.

You are very loyal customers and I am very grateful for believing in me and Mirage. I do the best I can. Every day. Because I believe that Mirage can be a wonderful thing and make people's lives better and more fun :)

Hi dear Steam users,

I want to be transparent with you. Last 1.5 months I was working on 0.3.5 and also on physics. Time split was 50-50. That's one of the reasons why 0.3.5 still is not released (it's almost ready, maybe I'll release it in 5 days, maybe in 2 weeks, I suck at time estimates, don't want to tell a specific date). I decided to spent time on physics because it's a very complex task and I simply would forget half of the mathematical equations if I did not work on it. But thanks to that time commitment I can confidently say that in near time (until the end of this year or at the beginning of next one) Mirage will have realistic cloth physics. Then hair physics. Then the most complex of them all - character's body physics.


Cloth physics

Recommended way to create new clothes in Mirage will be through Marvelous Designer and Substance Painter - the world's leading tools for authoring clothes and texturing. Also cloth physics will work on clothes bought from Daz store or created in Maya/Blender.


I want Mirage to be the best sex simulator in the world. It requires the most realistic physics systems you have ever seen. That's the goal. So, all I ask from you - just wait. I am improving Mirage every day. Even if you don't see it.

Soon I will release Mirage 0.3.5 where you could have many girls in one scene, save scenes, save poses and more.

I need to finish a few remaining issues and improve some mechanics (like limbs rotation in desktop version) before releasing it though.

Then I will start working on Mirage 0.4 (G3F/G8F Importer).

Hi dear Steam users,

After release of Mirage 0.3 I've been working on two things:

1) Mirage 0.3.5 (multiple girls in one scene) - spent 5-10% of time on it

2) Mirage 0.4 (Importer of Genesis 3 females/hairs/clothes) - spent 90-95% of time on it


Initially I planned to release Mirage 0.3.5 on August 18th, but my video card almost died one week ago, started to have visual artifacts and I can not continue working on that task so I switched to Importer task. New video card should arrive tomorrow or day after that and I will switch back to "multiple girls" task.

I plan to release Mirage 0.3.5 this month. I'll keep you updated.

On screenshots you can see draft UI of Importer and two girls from Mirage 0.3.5.

Also, starting from 12th of September I will work on Mirage full time because as I informed you in previous post - I left my job on 11th of August and must work there for one more month according to a contract.

Hi dear Steam users,

I need additional time to polish 0.3.5 (1-2 weeks?). Originally I wanted 0.3.5 to be the same as 0.3 only with multiple girls in one scene, but then I decided to add more features and improvements to it. Also I want to give you a good user experience while manipulating and switching between girls. Basically, I want to give you a new and interesting version of Mirage to play with and then continue working on Importer.

Favorites in 0.3.5:
On this screenshot little green rectangles are "favorite" morphs. You can mark any morph as "favorite" and they will appear in separate "Favorites" category. "R" button on the right resets this individual morph to its default value.
