Imaginary Roadmap

Some ideas I have. I call it the imaginary roadmap.

2021 November or December.
  • Soft Outline and Inline?

2022 (Q?)
  • More animation frames,
  • More canvas layers for "normal layers".
  • Inverse Kinematic (rigging) 50/50 on to make this or not.
  • Adding in an option to save your colors that you draw with on to the mini palette without inserting them in manually.
  • Increase undo/redo capacity
  • Depending on the engine I use... gif recording with transparent background (by clearing a color that is not used on the canvas).

Late 2022
  • Price increase (depending on if inverse kinematic is added?)
  • Depending on the engine I use... adding in mp4 recording as an alternative to gif recording?

Shadowforge 5.3.1 (animation update)

This quality of life update makes it so that when the left mouse button is clicked on an animation frame, it will select it without placing it on the canvas. Placing it on the canvas is only performed by right mouse clicking the animation frame.

Shadowforge 5.3: New menu and more things

When you press ALT + A you go to the second right menu (translated in all supported languages).
Added in to the second right menu:
  • Sharp Outline
  • Smooth Inline
  • Sharp Inline

Two new sprites are available in the misc sprite menu:
  • Big Chicken
  • Hyena Warrior

Lots of bug fixes too which was mentioned in the devlogs before this one. And an increase of amount of undos/redos you can do.

Outline quality changed

I've set the outline to be smooth instead of sharp. I might add inline in the future, maybe next month or some day in 2022. I can't promise anything.

Keeping the opacity update

When you press ALT + E after you have lassoed, the lassoed part won't lose the opacity that it had.
