March 2026 Update
[p] Welcome to your GameGuru MAX update announcement. We're a little later than planned this month, due to some illness in the team, but we're back up and running! This release brings important fixes and improvements to core systems, enhancing both stability and gameplay scripting. We've also added new behaviors and updated documentation to help you get the most out of your game creation experience. Here’s a round-up of what’s now part of today’s release: [/p][hr][/hr][p] [/p][h2]Bug Fixes & Stability[/h2][p] We’ve addressed several issues to improve overall stability and prevent potential GPU stalls. Key fixes include enhanced guards and debug output for the GGTrees system, which may have been causing GPU stalls, and a critical fix for material index corruption affecting walk speed. [/p]
  • [p]GGTrees system: Added extra guards and DebugView output to prevent GPU stalls[/p]
[p] [/p][hr][/hr][p] [/p][h2]Lua & Scripting[/h2][p] This update introduces new behaviors and internal fixes to multiple scripts, improving logic activation and timing accuracy. Notably, the new global_check_zone behavior and icon assets have been added, expanding your scripting toolkit. We’ve also enhanced the cover and prone scripts with sound effects, refined flame light control for solo levels, and cleaned up the light control module for better performance. [/p]
