Hello everyone! How are you? I hope they're all great!

We would like to thank all the new players who have submitted their opinions and are helping us to make Breaking Gates even better.
We are currently working tirelessly on the next chapter of the game which will have another complete map in addition to new enemies and items. But for now it follows some changes and improvements Thanks for the support of all of you ^ - ^

[h3] Changes [/h3]
  • Defeated enemies now don't reappear when exiting the rooms. Only when you return to camp.
  • Adjustments on all enemies to improve the game's balance.
  • Material items and wearable items now have different colors for easy identification.

[h3] Interface [/h3]
  • Added the option to adjust the window size in the settings.
  • Added smooth or sharp graphic filter; You can switch in the settings.

[h3] Bug fixes [/h3]
  • Fixed an error in the item description window not disappearing when exiting the inventory menu.
  • Fixed collision errors that prevented the player from entering a new room on the first map.
  • Fixed an error in the cursor that did not reach the "Missions" tabs in the inventory.
  • Fixed an error that did not inform the player when completing a hunting challenge.
  • Other minor bugs fixed.

Minior Fixes Update

Hello guys! We would like to thank you for all the support and suggestions you are giving to us. We are working on a new map that will be available soon, we will post more on our social networks. In the meantime, here are some changes and improvements that you have reported to us.

[h3] Bug fixes [/h3]
  • Corrected the error when rescuing an item from the chest when the inventory was full;
  • Fixed error when receiving hunting mission prizes with full inventory.
  • Fixed collision errors with the roof in some parts of the map.
  • Corrected the error of the force bar when the crystal is absorbed by Igro.
  • Other minor bugs fixed.


[h3] Interface [/h3]
  • Interface size and resolution have been improved.
  • On the keyboard, you can now access the menu by pressing [Backspace] or [Enter].
  • Added captions for buttons on some missing menus.
  • When opening the menu, the map tab appears first.


[h3] Changes [/h3]
  • The hunting quests of the Captain NPC are no longer sold.
  • Adjustments to the difficulty of some enemies on the “Kirian Surroundings” map.
  • Drop of some essential items have been improved.

Minior Fixes Update

Hello everyone! Passing here to inform you of the update that is already available to everyone. Unfortunately we realized that the game was not working properly in some ways. So before proceeding with new content we decided to stop and go back.

The main change is that the game is now running at a better frame rate. We still have many improvements that we want to make in the interface and resolution, in addition to several others that were suggested by you, so I would like to thank you all for participating in this game. And wait, we are preparing a lot of cool news! (^ - ^)

[h3] Interface [/h3]
  • Added a small tutorial showing the controls on the controller or keyboard at the beginning of the game.
  • For the keyboard, the skill commands are now [A S D].
  • The [C] and [X] keys are now used to confirm and cancel the menus and not [Enter] anymore.

[h3] Changes [/h3]
  • Hunting and crafting missions are now renewed after completing 5 of them.
  • Some enemies from the "Allira Forest" map have been moved.
  • The poisonous plants on the walls can now be destroyed.

[h3] Bug fixes [/ h3]
  • Fixed an error that changed the character's max HP when starting the game;
  • Equipment that did not count the Technical attribute is now functioning;
  • Fixed the error of the special "Cutting wave" that pushed enemies fixed on the ground;

Breaking Gates - Available now

Hello everyone! ^^

We would like to thank you immensely for all the analysis, suggestions and help from each of you. The game has just been approved by Steam. We are very happy and excited to continue our work.

For next posts we will talk about all the changes and improvements that we are planning, new mechanics that will be introduced until the final version of the game and also talk about the general suggestions of the community.
