Next Level Update Reveal / Pixeljam's Dino Run 2

[p]Hello all,[/p][p]We hope you've been enjoying the level update from earlier this year. Ben has slowly been picking away at the next level update, and today I managed to convince him to show me a little peek! Here we go...[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]He informed me that some of the textures are still placeholder, it's a work in progress obviously, but looking good so far in my opinion.[/p][p][/p][p]And now for something (almost) completely different...[/p][p][/p][p]If any of you are familiar with Pixeljam as a game dev studio, and not Pixeljam as a publisher, you may have heard of a game we made in 2008 called Dino Run. It was pretty popular in the flash game glory days... a simpler time when you could log into Newgrounds, Kongregate, Miniclip, Coolmath, etc and play an endless amount of quick-loading and forward-thinking games directly in your browser.

We still have browser games of course, but the 2000's just hit different. Well, Pixeljam has been working on a sequel to Dino Run for quite a while, but we haven't made much noise about it until recently. And now we have...[/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]It's pixel-art prehistoric multiplayer platformer with world-building tools included to let people create and share their own experiences.[/p][p]We've been working on the game one way or another for almost a decade, and we finally have enough momentum to make a final push to get to Early Access release on Steam, and if you are curious about it, please click here to check out the Kickstarter Campaign we just launched.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Everyone that backs it will get immediate access to the current Multiplayer Sandbox, where you can explore & experiment, design & destroy, hang out and have fun alone or with friends:[/p][p][/p][p]Thanks for checking it out! Take care,[/p][p]-Miles @ Pixeljam[/p]
