Native Linux Beta Now Available

[p][/p][h3]How to Opt In[/h3]
  1. [p]Right-click Destiny of the World in your Steam Library.[/p]
  2. [p]Select Properties → Betas.[/p]
  3. [p]Choose [c]dotwtest[/c].[/p]
  4. [p]Steam will download the native Linux beta build.[/p]
[p]If you do not see [c]dotwtest[/c], restart Steam and check again.[/p][p][/p][h3]PBEM Warning[/h3][p] If you have any Play-by-Email games in progress, finish them before switching branches. Mixing the stable build and the [c]dotwtest[/c] beta build will cause save-game compatibility issues.[/p][p]For cross-platform PBEM between Windows and Linux, both players must be on the [c]dotwtest[/c] beta branch.[/p][p][/p][h3]If You Previously Used Proton[/h3]
  1. [p]Right-click Destiny of the WorldProperties → Compatibility[/p]
  2. [p]Uncheck Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool[/p]
  3. [p]Uninstall Destiny of the World[/p]
  4. [p]Restart your computer[/p]
  5. [p]Follow the steps above under How to Opt In[/p][p][/p]
