Release Notes #36 (Version: 1.0.8353.16914)

The major feature in this release is: AI strategy sharing. Your allies will now share their plans to attack regions and conduct strategic bombing, in the messages log. This should help you better coordinate your plans with theirs.

To accomplish this, you will see a change in the turn processing cycle. Previously, the AI attack planning was done after you entered your moves. Now the AI will plan their moves at the start of the turn, so that they can inform you of their plans. As a result, this information will be available to you when you are making your own plans.

New Functionality:
  • Your AI allies will now report their attack and bombing plans so that you can better coordinate your plans with theirs.

Tuning
[List]
Reduced damage from ground unit AA.

Bug Fixes:
  • Under some circumstances, the battle log messages would say that ships without depth chargers were firing them. This message shouldn't have been displayed. In these instances, no damage would have been done, because the actual firing logic would determine the ship had no launchers, and wouldn't actually do anything, but the messages shouldn't have been displayed.
  • Fixed crash bug that could occur when AI reorganized its fleets.
  • USA ships in Hawaii are no longer locked there (prior to Pearl Harbor Attack) when the "Early USA Entry" option is selected.

Release Notes #35 (Version: 1.0.8340.17576)

New Functionality:
  • Upgrade Button Tooltip: Now provides details unit cannot upgrade. Also clarified tooltip for ship upgrades, to list the ship systems that are eligible for an upgrade (Radar, Damage Control, etc)
  • Added support for numpad keys.
  • Added tooltips for orders screen.

Changes:
  • Paratroops are now allowed to use transports.

Bug Fixes:
  • Unit Report: Fixed bug where changing filters (for example: All Units to Air Units) would display a blank report.
  • Unit Report: Tech Level for Infantry, Paratroops, and Mech Infantry was 1 higher than it should have been.
  • Unit Specs Report: Fixed tech level for Infantry and Paratroops (it was not showing upgrades)

Release Notes #34 (Version: 1.0.8334.28618)

New Functionality:
  • Espionage: Identify Production Mission will now provide estimates of the enemy country total production and stockpiles. Accuracy of the estimates increases with the number of teams assigned. This can be viewed on the Resource Report.
  • Espionage: Resource Report will now show damage to ports and airbases, if you have an Identify Production Espionage Mission.

Tuning
[List]
Identify Production Espionage Mission. Increased the percentage chance that a mission would identify a resource value. Reduced the maximum variance of your spy reports to +/-27% of the actual value. At 5 teams and maximum cryptography research level, this will reduce the maximum variance to zero. This represents that codes have been broken and your agents have been fully placed to provide accurate information.

Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed crash caused when air patrols returned from patrol, in specific conditions
  • Fixed bug which was granting countries extra replacements which they had not produced.
  • Player countries still neutral (USA, USSR, Italy) couldn't strategic redeploy next to a combatant country (e.g., USA to Canada Adjacent)
  • Japan and UK could not strategic redeploy next to each other (prior to when hostilities broke out, normally Pearl Harbor)
  • Strategic redeployment error message not being displayed when UK unit in France tried to deploy next to German Region. The game prevented the move, but the player never saw the error message.

Release Notes #33 (Version: 1.0.8330.19194)

This is a hotfix update to fix a problem introduced with the new Rename Units Feature that was causing the Units Report to crash the game.

The Rename Feature was also causing loaded saved games to not show the unit names, for saved games created prior to the Rename Feature addition. (Note: in affected saved games, some generated unit names may have changed)

Release Notes #32 (Version: 1.0.8326.19168)

A hot fix for a bug affecting small arms rating on upgrades.

Bug Fixes:
  • Upgrading infantry, paratroop, and mechanized infantry tech levels were not receiving the full small arms rating upgrade to due to a rounding error during the upgrade calculation.
  • Militia and Cavalry units can't be upgrade, but newly created Militia and Cavalry units were receiving the infantry tech upgrades. This has been fixed.
