Welcome to the latest update on Ships At Sea. In Ships At Sea, you navigate the vast oceans and manage the intricate details of sea travel. We are thrilled to introduce a new feature that will enhance your seafaring adventures - the fully functional Shipyard. This addition is designed to improve your gameplay and deepen your engagement with every aspect of ship management.
[h3]Upgrades and Customizations[/h3]
Enhance your boat’s capabilities by upgrading various components at the shipyard. To upgrade or rig your boat, simply interact with the laptop located on the workbench in the shipyard.
These upgrades are just few examples, more options will be introduced to a later point. They will not only improve the performance or appearance of your ships but also add a layer of strategy as you decide how best to equip your vessel for the challenges ahead.
[h3]Keep Your Ship Pristine with the Power Washer[/h3]
After days and weeks at sea, every boat and ship starts to show the wear and tear of constant exposure to the elements. Use the power washer in the shipyard to remove the rust and dirt, keeping your ship looking as good as new.
[h3]Customize Your Captain at the Locker[/h3]
At the shipyard, you have the option to not only upgrade your vessel but also customize your appearance. Currently, there are preset clothing options available for different career paths that you can choose from. As the game continues to develop, we plan on expanding these options to give you the freedom to mix and match clothing and accessories. This feature will provide a more extensive wardrobe in the future, allowing you to create a unique seafaring persona.
[h3]Future Updates - Boat Repainting[/h3]
Looking ahead, one of the exciting features we're working on is the ability to repaint your boat. This feature will not be available for the Early Access release but is slated for inclusion in a future update. Players will be able to choose from a variety of colors by interacting with color bucket assets at the shipyard. This addition will allow you to customize your vessel’s appearance to your liking, adding another layer of personalization to your sea adventures.
