[p]A year has passed since Diplomacy is Not an Option was released! During that time we had some good changes and additions come to the game. The Undead received their own campaign branch, Map Editor, new endless maps and challenges have been added, and a number of improvements made their way into DiNaO too. The game has also received a free prologue — Diplomacy is Not an Option: Shareware. But it’s not the end — we're far from over, not even close![p]
You’ve probably noticed that the Undead lack some features compared to the usual DiNaO gameplay. The next major update ought to rectify that! [p]
The Undead will receive:

• A research tree.
  
• Their own version of the Market.
  
• A new resource type.
  
• And more units!

But while there’s still some time before all of those appear in the game, we couldn’t leave you without a gift. So here are Anniversary Challenges with 2 new missions for you to conquer — fight forces of nature and survive long enough! The game is also 55% off till October 6, so don’t miss it. Since the launch of Map Editor, over 200 custom maps have appeared in Workshop! Now, with the addition of units’ and buildings’ characteristics override feature you can do even more and have more tools to set up your maps as you see fit. Though, all those settings must be confusing…

To make it a bit easier, we’ve compiled a guide to Map Editor — it should help you to utilise all its features more effectively and create even crazier stories and challenges!

Now we are expanding the scope of the playtest, which means we need more volunteers! (If you’ve written to us previously, check your email — there may be a response!)[/p][p]We need players, who:[/p]

• [p]Find it hard to play on (Almost) Walk in the Park difficulty. Bonus points if you can’t complete some mission there.[/p]
• [p]Ready to record their gameplay on the new difficulty and upload it on YouTube, a cloud storage or somewhere else we can watch it.[/p]
• [p]Ready to fill in a questionnaire and describe their struggles and experience playing each mission.[/p]
