About the Undead update: Dealer Worm

[p]Pupultas!
[p]As you already know, the next update reworks the Undead. So today we are looking a bit more into what exactly will change.
[p]Currently, gameplay for the Undead isn’t as deep as it is for Lord’s forces: the economy is simplistic, there’s less unit variety and no way to upgrade them. The upcoming update is aimed to rectify that — new units, new skills, research tree increase the number of available tactics, while a new resource expands the economy system.
[p]Adding a resource to the economy, however, has not complicated it. To make sure the Undead are as fun to play as before (and even more fun) we’ve introduced to the game the Undead equivalent of the Market. The Dealer Worm will exchange resources you need for resources you have!
[p][p]Simply open the exchange menu, choose a resource you want to receive and the one you are ready to offer, set up the amount to trade with a slider and confirm — the Dealer Worm will do the rest!

Happy Halloween!.. and October Community Showcase

[p]Pupultas!
[p]It’s spooky season! And what can be more fitting for Halloween than a custom map where you find yourself among the raging zombie apocalypse?
[p]This is what this month’s map — Operation Raccoon City — is about. Why is it so special? It throws two protagonists in a city amidst crowds of turned citizens. That’s all your forces and it’s already too late to build defenses or economy. I’s just two people among the sea of enemies.
[p]Your only chance to survive is to fight your way through the infected tide towards the only available barracks, where you can hire some archers — so grab all resources you see. The city is doomed, but you still might have a chance…
[p][p]The map is beyond difficult. It will make you reload again and again… but sometimes the process of surviving is more fun than winning. Give it a try!

Diplomacy is Not an Option and Lessaria Bundle!

[p]Pupultas!
[p]Our friends at Rockbee Team have just released Lessaria: Fantasy Kingdom Sim — a strategy with indirect control inspired by Majesty! Build your economy, hire troops and place bounties if you want them to do something! Check it out!
[p]And of course, Lessaria is in a bundle with Diplomacy is Not an Option. This means that buying the bundle you get an additional 10% off. And if you already have a game from it, its price is deducted from the bundle’s!

September Community Map Showcase!

[p]Pupultas!
[p]We start highlighting maps made by the community! Today in the center of attention is Grimridge.
[p]Grimridge is a map designed by Lord with a focus on terrain. Its narrow canyons filled with enemy peasants will make expanding tough, on occasion redirecting an attacking wave so it comes from a direction you don’t expect. Add attacking waves that ramp up fast by the end of the scenario, to the point when one attack starts before the previous ends — and you’ll get a hard challenge that will take more than one attempt to conquer.

[p]The map really highlights the importance of information and early expansion in Diplomacy is Not an Option, as well as shows how powerful terrain can be in defence. A great experience for hardcore DiNaO players.
[p]Give Grimridge a try and share with us your experience!
