[p]The day has come, and you already can install the update and try out new content! Let’s do a brief recap of previously announced features.

A new set of Challenges: A Tribute to Rampart. Three missions in Tower Defence style![p][p][h3]Mounted Crossbowman[/h3]
A new unit is available in Stables II. Packing a stronger punch than Mounted Archers and way more mobile than Crossbowman, we hope it will find its niche on the battlefield![p][p][h3]Rebel troops can be hired[/h3]
Rebel troops have finally arrived — now they can be hired in Rebel Barracks, adding to the roster such units as Raider with Shield, Rebel Catapult, Rebel Hulk and Rebel Ballista. While their makeshift weaponry lacks in power, it can be created earlier, giving you better opportunities to defend right from the start. The new buildings and units are available in the Rebels’ campaign branch, in Sandbox Mode and in Map Editor.[p][p][h3]Recommended custom maps[/h3]
Our monthly custom map selection comes to the game. Now when opening Map Editor for the first time, you will be prompted to automatically download them, sparing you the effort of searching for them.
[p][h3]Map of a season contest reward[/h3]
Every three months when a season ends, we conclude it by choosing a favourite map of the season. As a reward we now add creators of such maps to the game as special starting units in Challenge missions. In this update, our first winner, FOTCH, joins us!
[p][h3]German localisation rework[/h3]
We’ve greatly improved German localisation and got rid of mistakes and inconsistencies.

Features

• Tribute to Rampart — a new set of Challenges in Tower Defence style with 3 new missions;

• When creating a map in Map Editor you now can save it in the menu (on ESC);
  
• Multiple UI and UX fixes;
  
• Some SFX improvements;
  

Bug fixes

• A bug that made it possible to get achievements involving time limits after breaking them;
  
• A bug that caused instant win on maps created in Map Editor with only Defend objective;
  
• A bug that caused unit SFX not playing when a lot of units were selected;
  
• A bug that caused music not to play on maps created in Map Editor;
  
• Rare bugs that made it possible for numbers of Bones and Death Metal stored to turn negative;
  
• Fixed Split Selection button functioning incorrectly with walls;
  
• A rare crash that happened when the Citadel of the Undead is destroyed the same moment Twilight Overlord’s Avatar raises zombies;
  
• Multiple localisation fixes, including massive rework of German localisation.

[p]And again today we show you another custom map that caught our attention! This time we took a look at Conspiracy from the Dark by Voltmortar.
[p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][p]Let us preface this with an advice to try the map without spoiling the experience to yourself. But, if you still want to learn about it first, then here you go.

[p]Imagine you took the offer of the Undead to join them. But something went wrong with the ritual, and only you and your castle have been turned. Obviously, your former subjects, appalled by the sudden appearance of the Citadel of the Undead right behind their backs, started blasting. Now, to survive you have to carve some safe space and start your economy, so you can get new Undead underlings.
[p]Conspiracy from the Dark requires some micromanagement at the start, especially since every shooting unit has experienced an increase in their capabilities and now can attack from much farther. While attacking waves are quite frequent, enemies in them are not numerous and don’t pose much danger, unlike enemy encampments — those will be a tough nut to crack. But nothing can stand before the Undead horde!
[p]And with this another season of custom maps is finished. This winter we’ve tried out the following 3:[p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]

[p]And we want you to choose your favourite! Vote for it in the form.

[p]For some time we’ve been selecting maps that caught our attention and have been featuring them in our monthly posts. In the next update, we are taking this further — such maps will be listed in the game in a special window where players can choose to download them if they wish to get a new experience.
[p]Additionally, every three months we choose our favourite custom map of the season — now their authors will be mentioned in the game! Special units bearing their names will be added as starting troops to future Challenge Mode maps to commemorate their achievement. But if you want to take part in this with your map, make sure to read our posting guidelines!
